One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition Reviews
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition is a wonderful example of a licensed adaptation doing just about everything right; if you've ever read or watched One Piece and thought, "this would make a great video game!” this is that game. While it doesn't spend nearly enough time on its story beats to fully immerse new players into its world, we'd still recommend it even if you're new to the Straw Hat Crew — there's plenty of rollicking fun to be had throwing elbows (and swords, and staves, and…) with Luffy and co., and longtime readers will have a blast revisiting their earliest days. A recommended romp for One Piece and Warriors fans alike.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 lists the many anime series in up to 20 hours. The game has already succeeded in summarizing the anime events in this period without missing any important element of the anime series. The game also offers a simple and smooth playing style in a group of islands Famous for anime, to give you hours of fun despite the ease of the big game and some dialogues that interspersed the battles, which made me unable to understand all events well, but in the end it is a distinctive experience on the switch.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is mainly dedicated to the fans of the saga, including those of the "dinasty warriors-like" games. From this point of view it turns out as a fun, long-lived and complete offer, unfortunately not so strong in the technical porting.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition keeps the same traits that can be found on the original game: a wide variety of characters, lots of content to explore, a quality soundtrack and elements of the One Piece series. While these are all good reasons to dedicate time and energy to the game, those unfamiliar with the series are not likely to be converted in great numbers and the game does not present anything truly groundbreaking - ultimately, this is a work that preaches to the choir.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is a game you've played before, but it's a blast nonetheless. The anime's outlandish storyline ties together neatly with the hectic fun of a Musou game, ensuring this is an appealing and meaty package. It's just a shame it doesn't take more risks with the tried-and-tested formula.
One Piece Pirates Warriors 3 is a top-tier Musou game that fans of the series can finally enjoy on the Nintendo Switch. This is the definitive way to play the game without any major drawbacks that can be typically associated with a quick port.
Pirate Warriors 3 is further proof that Musou games are a perfect fit for Switch.
Three games in, and Koei Tecmo really understands how to make a dynamic, exciting One Piece Warriors game. The teams behind these Warriors games are also clearly comfortable with the Nintendo Switch as a piece of hardware, and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 might be three years old now, but the Switch "ultimate edition" really is the ultimate edition.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is still as enjoyable now as it was back when it first released and is a fantastic addition to the Switch library. While no physical copy is available, this is definitely one game that you should make a point to purchase from the eShop.
If you’re not a fan of the Musou genre, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 isn’t going to change your mind. It is first and foremost a massive scale beat em up just set in the One Piece universe. But if you a fan of the Musou genre and either love One Piece or want to see what One Piece is about then you’re going to have a great time with this game. It’s welcoming to newcomers and there’s a ton of content here already to keep you entertained and levelling up your characters for hours on end but the Switch Deluxe Edition comes with that extra cherry on top with the bundled in DLC.
While it definitely won’t change your mind if you loathe the genre, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition does enrich the fan with a nerdgasm full of content while providing a simple, but somewhat therapeutic swabbie smashing experience.
This is for the most part quite a satisfactory game, it doesn't have the same impact for me as say AOT2 or Naruto but they are of course very different games. If you are a One Piece fan or love Musou type games then I am sure you will enjoy this. There are problems with the pacing, how repetitive it can get and the story interrupting the battles. I also have an issue with the price of this game on the eShop here in the UK and in Europe. Quite frankly paying almost double for the same game here in the UK compared to the USA is ridiculous. If you can get this at the right price then go for it but otherwise wait for a sale as Bandai Namco themselves have released better games than this on the Switch already and with Hyrule, just around the corner, you may want to save your Hard Earned Cash for that.
Remastered for the Nintendo Switch, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 - Deluxe Edition is a fun way to rediscover a solid Musou on the go with enhanced features. While it's not as large in content as Hyrule Warriors or Dragon Quest Heroes, it's a great experience especially if you're a fan of the One Piece Universe.
