Transference won't leave you with anything to remember it with, the story isn't thrilling at all and the experience is too short with very obvious puzzles.

Transference stars well, but in the end, fails to deliver a good story or gameplay. but despite all these problems, the game has a great atmosphere and offers a touching horror experience which is hard to forget even after finishing the game.

Creativity is above everything in gaming industry and can cover many issues in games. Most of the time that Ubisoft brought us a smaller game (compared to its huge blockbusters), it has been a good game with creativity, like Grow Home, Valiant Hearts and now, Transference. Without a doubt, Transference is one of the best VR games that has created and even without VR it is still a deep experience that emotionally and mentally challenges you to tell you an amazing story. beside wonderful story, also art style, colors, puzzles, and music are very beautiful. Sound is everything in this game and developers use this element in best way that is possible in a game. despite of some issues in gameplay mechanics, Transference is a piece of art that takes you to the depth of its complex story to experience pure mental fear.

Transference fails in both storytelling and creating an engaging gameplay. The story is extremely vague and unclear, and the ending is confusing. On the other hand, the puzzles are easy and not that much fun. I can only hope the next cooperation between Ubisoft and a film production company leads to a much better game.

Transference is an example of a first-person narrative driven game done right. From its tech singularity premise to its balance of story and gameplay, the game manages to craft an experience that's immersive and interactive without feeling like another walking simulator.

Transference ends as disappointment gameplay and story-wise. The option to play the game without a VR Headset is well-meant but poorly executed. We recommend to try the demo in the playstation store first before you buy this short and simple experience.

Transference is in some ways, a tighter twist on Bloober Team's Observer (with a dash of that company's Layers of Fear in the mix). But it never reaches the loopy and inventive highs of that game's head-messing. Not that there isn't merit to the strange and disturbing places Transference goes because it definitely has a good line in loopy. It just needed a bit more substance to the quieter moments.

Though this sinewy psychological thriller may prove both disappointingly brief and overtly obtuse for some headset owners, as an exercise in pure, distilled atmosphere, it's one of PSVR's most bracingly effective offerings so far in 2018.

Transference doesn't have intense combat or elaborate bosses. Instead, the adventure is about the experience of being in an unknown world that feels wrong. This uncomfortable tone of fragmented memories, environments, and many jump scares to create a surreal horror experience. For so much Transference does well it length and expensive price tag will bother a lot of gamers.

Dangerously overpriced surrealist horror.

Short, inconclusive, but monstrously intense, Transference represents the next step forward for narrative games.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with Transference, uncovering the mysteries that have taken place in the Hayes household. It’s immersiveness when playing in VR scared me in clever ways and it’s graphical fidelity made me believe I was really walking through a real apartment. While the asking price may be a bit steep for some, I would definitely recommend keeping this game on your radar if you like psychological thrillers and own a VR headset.

Transference is a great game to experience in VR, but outside of that fails to leave you with any sort of lasting impression.
