Space Hulk: Tactics Reviews
Space Hulk: Tactics offers a unique and engaging experience for fans of the board game, however, several issues prevent it from reaching the light of the Astronomican.
Space Hulk: Tactics is a wonderfully challenging, asymmetrical tactics game in spite of its poor PC controls.

The ability to lay waste to complete strangers or engage with friends in private will be a boon to the game. I really think that this game will shine in the multiplayer aspect, and if you are a fan of this universe, this board game (or board games in general) and don’t give a single flying fig about the single-player campaign, or playing against AI, then pick it up. A good adaptation of the board game. Especially designed for the fans of the saga, but challenging enough to attract new followers.

Space Hulk: Tactics is certainly true to the ethos of the original board game, with some smart card-based additions, a full Genestealer campaign and a full on level editor. That said, it's only liable to be long-serving franchise fans that get the most out of it.

Ultimately I think Space Hulk Tactics goes down as another Games Workshop video game disappointment. The promise is there, but the execution leaves something to be desired.
There is no way that you could say Space Hulk: Tactics isn’t a flawed game. It’s a damaged jewel that could do with a hefty amount of spit and polish but it still has a slight glint underneath all the scratches. If you’re in the mind for a console tactics game and you want a unique experience like the Genestealers campaign, then you can’t go wrong with this one.
