Space Hulk: Tactics Reviews
I have to say I enjoyed my time with this one. It's yet another "diamond in the rough" kind of title that needed just a little bit more polish to truly stand out. With that said, it's still easily one of the better installments in the series and a solid strategy game, both for Space Hulk fans and new recruits. It's precisely what a Warhammer 40K game should be - a well-thought-out, slow and methodical strategy game with a strong focus on squad-based tactics. If you feel that you can look past its flaws, give it a fair shake - after all, serving the Emperor is not a duty, it's a privilege.
With a nice story, nice visuals and fun gameplay, Space Hulk: Tactics is a good game that fails only on its awful AI and some issues with its controls, but it still offers a good experience for fans of Warhammer 40K and Tactical RPGs.

Space Hulk: Tactics is probably the best video game adaption of the classic board game yet, with decent presentation and some welcome additions. But the faithfulness of its adaption only highlights the limited "tactics" offered by the board game's basic setup, and its lower budget makes for a lack of polish in some areas. Strategy buffs may be diverted for a bit, but won't fall in love.

A blast from the past rebuilt for current gaming, with enhancements and improvements to gameplay.
All the elements of a great game exist here, but they are hampered by poor design choices, and frustrating gameplay. With a little extra polish Space Hulk: Tactics could shine, but in its current state? It's lost in space.
Boring adaptation of the board game Space Hulk with a lot of bugs, imbalanced factions and empty multiplayer.

Ultimately I think fans of the 40K universe and Space Hulk will be satisfied, it just might need some time to iron out the AI bugs. If this is your first go at Space Hulk it is an excellent place to start but you have to be willing to learn to walk again as it takes no prisoners.
Though its glacial pace certainly won't be for everyone, Space Hulk: Tactics offers up a substantial helping of enjoyable turn-based tactical gameplay with two distinct and well designed factions in the hostile but compelling Warhammer 40k setting.
Space Hulk: Tactics is the most impressive Warhammer 40K effort I've played in recent memory. Cyanide clearly decided to focus on the atmospherics and worldbuilding in lieu of the complex combat systems that make other 40K titles strategically engaging. Space Hulk doesn't have that, but what it does offer is a visceral, best-played-in-first-person tactics board game that offers up a hefty challenge. Do Hero Quest next, Cyanide!
Much like the origins of Space Hulk it feels true to the tabletop roots of the series - but also lacking in its limited scope.
Space Hulk Tactics take the best of the board game and turns it into a pretty cool game. Game's Workshop title have the perfect atmosphere that dice and board lacks.

Space Hulk: Tactics is by far the best digital version of Game's Workshop classic, but its uninteresting campaign and the lack of asynchronous multiplayer are two of its biggest sins.

The latest video game in the Warhammer universe has good but poor execution
Nevertheless, taken in reasonable doses, like the board game it's based on, Space Hulk: Tactics is a rewarding and satisfying strategy game, whether you're purging the unclean or punching your extendable jaws through an intergalactic fascist's face
Space Hulk: Tactics is a more deliberate and slower-paced game than its contemporaries but is a solid experience and a definite play for those with interest in the Space Hulk property.
While it isn't going to be blowing the doors off of the tactical strategy genre, Space Hulk: Tactics is a perfectly adequate game. Thanks to a solid combat engine, good writing, twin-headed campaign, and level designer, players will certainly be getting their monies worth for the forty-dollar price tag. Now gear up and get back out there, brother. You've an entire species to defend!
I’d heartily recommend Space Hulk Tactics if you’re a fan of Warhammer, or you’ve looking for something to fill that XCOM void, or maybe even both. Or perhaps you’ve not heard of the franchise, in which case you could do far worse than this. Campaign replayability, online play and map creation will make this a worthwhile investment.
Bordering on being a very good game, it just falls slightly sort, but for anyone who enjoys the that world or likes a good strategy game you can’t got far wrong with this one.
Space Hulk: Tactics is a solid entry to the strategy game category for Xbox One users. The lack of a strong campaign and good progression system are unfortunate, but this doesn't hold the title back from being highly enjoyable. The unique and polished gameplay experience makes it more than worth your time.
