Assetto Corsa Competizione Reviews
The underpinnings of a great racing sim are here, but for Assetto Corsa to branch out and hit that next level, it needs more next time. They have a physics engine that feels good, even if it’s too temperamental with a gamepad. The cars and the environments are stunning to look at, even if it’s not the best you’ll find on a PS4. It can even be fun to play, but with how dry the game feels, there isn’t any incentive for those other than your hardcore endurance sim fan to continue racing.
If you are looking for the most realistic driving experience on a console and can feel gasoline running through your veins, this game was made for you. But if the sheer amount of options and the level of seriousness of Assetto Corsa Competizione scares you, steer clear of it.
Assetto Corsa Competizione offers excellent realism as rarely seen, although its exaggerated difficulty and high demands make it unsuitable for the most casual player and a bad choice for starting out in this genre. More content for singleplayer and a more polished performance to achieve at least a stable 30fps is missing, but it is still recommended if we are willing to invest a lot of time in it.

ACC is a game you must play if you are a fan of motorsport. Compete, fairly against the CARS Project. And it offers within its own type of competitions, GT World Challenge, a complete experience. It is certainly not a game for casuals, nor for arcade fans. It is a pure and simple sim, and that means that it is not a game that you can learn without further ado. Among its shortcomings is mainly the fact of not going at 60 fps, which makes the way the environment looks less fluid. But it is an entirely enjoyable game, difficult, sometimes too much, from which I would expect some update to improve its command.

Without any doubt, Assetto Corsa Competizione has a long way ahead to reach the quality of the icons of Racing Simulation Genre but in some aspects like car physics and sound design it's phenomenal. Overall it's an unbalanced package with many lows and a few highs.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is in a much better state in terms of content now than when it was first released in 2019. There are more tracks and teams to choose from, and playing it with a controller is nowhere near as nightmare inducing as the console port of Assetto Corsa is. With that being said, you need to understand that this is primarily a multiplayer-centered game.
Jump in, it sure is to be a bumpy ride at the beginning, but Assetto Corsa Competizione is on a course to smooth sailing as one of the best racing simulators… with some cut and polish intended.
A stand-alone expansion of the very popular base game, Assetto Corsa Competizione offers GT fans and racers an experience like no other.
We could define Assetto Corsa Competizione one of the best racing simulation titles ever released for this generation of consoles. The level of simulation of the title is so high as to make the titles that are considered such pale. The fact is that it is not perfect, but its moles are mostly small details that do not spoil the gaming experience proposed by Kunos Simulations.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is a realistic GT racing game that will thrill fans and bring in new ones that may not be familiar with the circuit. With beautiful graphics and realistic driving mechanics, the only thing holding this game back is the amount of content provided at launch. But at $39.99, there is plenty to keep you busy.
While Assetto Corsa: Competizione offers much more variety time of day and weather changes, it lacks the depth and moddability that made Kunos Simulazioni famous in the first place. The lackluster career mode surely doesn’t help.
