Bad news if you're eagerly anticipating upcoming photography adventure Opus: Prism Peak: it's been delayed by another month or so to allow the developer to add some extra polish.
According to a press release, Opus: Prism Peak, which was originally set to launch this month, will now be arriving on April 16th instead. The launch will still be happening simultaneously on PC, Switch 2, and Switch, though, so you won't need to wait longer for your chosen platform.
Developer Sigono and publisher Shueisha Games say that the delay will allow them time to "refine the game’s breathtaking art style and emotionally rich narrative to its fullest potential", with Shueisha's Jonathan Wang promising the delay will ensure the game "fully reflects the heart and craftsmanship behind the project".
Opus: Prism Peak is the latest game in the Opus series of narrative-focused adventures, which also includes entries like 2018's Rocket of Whispers and 2021's Echo of Starsong.
This time around, the narrative is focused on Eugene, a photographer-slash-cafe owner who gets pulled into a realm of "fading light and unspoken sorrow" by the name of the Dusklands.
