A Small, Disgusting Detail About Resident Evil Requiem's Zombies Makes Them Even More Realistic

What does it take for a zombie to be realistic? Is it the magic that makes them rise from the grave? Or the fungus or virus that turns humans into 'infected'? The truth is that there's no definition of a 'realistic' zombie, but Resident Evil Requiem did its damnedest to make the closest thing possible.

It's not the shambling walk, the rotting skin, or the gargled voices that make Requiem's zombies so realistic. It's the fact that they poop their pants. That's right, you may have noticed some zombies have brown marks on their backsides, showing you the attention to detail that the devs have given this game.

As anyone who has watched a true-crime TV show can tell you, bodies tend to evacuate their bowels upon dying. It seems the way Requiem's version of the T-Virus works essentially kills the host, resulting in them pooping their pants or, in the game's case, their hospital gowns. This is especially noticeable in Grace's helicopter crash scene.
