Recently, Fooya Games was faced with "a dilemma." Its latest game, Monster Punk, was chosen for a slot in this year's The Mix + Kinda Funny Spring Game Showcase, but it came with a cost: To appear in the livestream, Fooya Games had to stump up $600. It's a modest fee for potential exposure like this, but as an indie dev, every penny counts.

A decision was made, and Fooya bit the bullet, creating a brand-new trailer in just 13 days, a trailer that it hoped would attract a new audience for its game, but it seemed to do anything but.

Speaking on Reddit, one of the game's two-person development team shared the outcome of the event, and after 24 hours, it gained a grand total of just 65 new wishlists.

Fooya Games' Monster Punk is a "vehicular combat roguelite where players fight waves of bots and rival drivers inside an arena," with movement-based power-ups. It looks like what would happen if Rocket League combined with Robot Wars in a Splatoon-esque arena.
