Steam has recently added four brand new games that players can add to their libraries at absolutely no cost. Sometimes, Steam's new games are free to play or are discounted/free for a limited time, but these games launched at the price of absolutely nothing. As of this writing, there is no indication these games will move toward a monetization model, meaning adding them to your library comes with no strings attached.
Of course, that means Steam users should adjust their expectations accordingly, as none of these titles are massive timesink open-world RPGs. But playable hours are only one metric.
