The sequel to Subnautica is currently in Early Access, but there's a small indie game that can keep you busy while you wait for more content in Subnautica 2. The original underwater exploration and survival game from Unknown Worlds Entertainment captivated players in 2018, earning it an Overwhelmingly Positive rating from over 180,000 reviews on Steam.
The sequel has been mired in controversy, leading to several setbacks and development shakeups. The Early Access version was released on May 14, and is far from complete. Currently, there are only a few areas available for fans to explore, with more to come.
