Spyro: A Realm Beyond has received a disappointing update, courtesy of the series' original composer, Stewart Copeland. The composer has officially confirmed he won't be involved in creating the music for Spyro: A Realm Beyond, and has given his opinion on why Toys for Bob has gone for a different approach.
A new Spyro title has been rumored for years now, following Toys for Bob's development on Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. The developer had previously worked on the critically acclaimed Spyro Reignited Trilogy, so it always felt like a natural fit if there was to be another revival of the iconic purple dragon. Spyro: A Realm Beyond was finally revealed earlier this month with a cinematic trailer that revealed very little in the way of gameplay.
Spyro the Dragon has arguably never been more popular, and with Crash getting a fourth mainline entry, fans are itching for a game like Spyro.
