Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is one of the first blockbuster remakes we’ll be receiving in 2027, and it’s incredibly exciting to see that it’ll be continuing the legacy of both the classic Tomb Raider games and the Survivor prequel trilogy that officially precedes Tomb Raider 1 in the lore. This way, unlike ordinary remakes that modernize and reimagine their original counterparts, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a sequel as much as it is a remake.
Interestingly, Tomb Raider: Catalyst’s slated release window for 2027 has yet to be pushed back following the announcement of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis’ release date, suggesting that two landmark Tomb Raider games might be launching next year.
