GameSpew's Reviews
[101 Ways to Die] looks very slick. It's clearly an indie title at heart, but developers Four Door Lemon have put a lot of effort in and the polish has paid off
[The Count Lucanor] has a way of masterfully mixing together silly and scary in that way that makes you feel like you should be giggling, but instead you're crying in the corner
Day of the Tentacle masterfully displays myriad forms of humour in every single scene so there’s something there that’ll appeal to everyone
When playing with others the visual prompts used to co-ordinate skill use and crystal surges are masterful, and should be taken note of by any developer looking to create a modern multiplayer game without voice chat
Dub Dash teaches you everything you need to play… deaths aren't unfair; you're just not trying hard enough
If the game's server issues are truly eradicated… and each of the upcoming episodes proves to be as good as Paris, then the full Hitman experience could prove to be essential
The gunplay just doesn't hold up, despite the inclusion of the novel co-op system
…it’s plain to see that Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is a deep and instantly inviting adventure
Cel Damage HD is a good game for the local multiplayer aficionados out there
It's the collaborative effort between you and perfect strangers half a world away that really sets Dreii apart
I went into [Spacejacked] thinking that it would be a lighthearted, fun, yet fast paced game to play casually… I never thought that in a matter of minutes it would become the one and only thing that fueled the hate fire within me
The dungeons are well designed, but it's the cartoon sprites with real character that really make the game come to life
With regard to the actual gameplay, it's clear to see that EA have put some work into ensuring [Rory McIlroy PGA Tour] controls as well as it could
Ultimately it seems that the creators came up with a brilliant idea but rushed the product
Fans of the comic books will surely love this addition to Michonne's story, as it gives a glimpse into what went on during her disappearance in the comics
[Heaven's Hope] is a great looking game, with graphics that sit somewhere between water colour, caricature and stop-motiony 2.5D
Despite [its] flaws, Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders still provides a great and thoroughly engrossing crime story
The brilliance of this game lies in the fact that these are all viable strategies, and that all are possible if you plan enough moves ahead
The pixelation, the darkness, the lack of story, and the sounds all come together in this synthesis that hammers home a single point deftly: die endlessly in an arena of death, and die better every time
If you want anything more than the one level and the one set of enemies, you’re going to paying anywhere from £11 to £19 extra on top of the base price
