6.8 / 10.0 - Dead Rising 4
Apr 12, 2017

As you can tell Dead Rising 4 is a flawed experience. Veterans of the series dislike it, a myriad of technical issues (on PC), and a relatively short and lack luster campaign prevents it from being a great game altogether. If, however you can look past its blemishes and just focus on the fun part of the game then you will be rewarded with a giddy smile while getting covered in organic paste. I recommend waiting for a huge sales drop before picking this one up.

9 / 10.0 - Yooka Laylee
Apr 12, 2017

Even if Yooka-Laylee is inspired from Banjo-Kazooie, since ex-Rare developers joined up with Team17, for players who didn’t get to play the aforementioned game will definitely enjoy this Banjo-successor. The worlds you get to explore, the characters you meet, and how visually spectacular the game is, Yooka-Laylee is a platformer that you don’t want to miss.

6.5 / 10.0 - 2Dark
Apr 10, 2017

2Dark offers exciting moments for each mission, just don’t let it frustrate you. I recommend that if you get the game, complete and finish it. A very compelling and weird sick story for a 2.5D game despite all the bugs, sound glitches, and frustration we encountered, we were still able to finish the game and enjoy it through the end.

9.2 / 10.0 - The Sexy Brutale

I honestly believe that Cavalier and Tequila hit the nail right on the head for this one.

If you already owned Halo Wars on the Xbox 360 and you own an Xbox One, there is nothing much to justify for buying the Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2 if you’re not into the multiplayer side. The improvements weren’t major, it’s technically the same game from the Xbox 360. It was a nice experience gameplay wise, but the story and character development were just disappointing.

Overall, Specter of Torment is a fabulous addition to the Shovel Knight title and further proves that Yacht Club Games are masters of their craft. Gameplay is fast and brimming with action, while adding hints of challenge. Specter Knight is an interesting character and a joy to play, while having an interesting story to boot. There's more than enough meat to justify your purchase, and it is a succulent dish indeed to experience.

8 / 10.0 - Rain World
Apr 5, 2017

While working on my own review, I knew that the game received a lot of bad reviews. I did not want to read other reviews because I didn’t want my review to be influenced by others. Most people hate what they cannot understand. But for me, you can’t just hate a game simply because it’s difficult (what about Dark Souls?). When you’re playing to have fun, you need to give Rain World plenty of time to get the best out of it.

This game is best played one time through the campaign but can be something that you can enjoy playing with friends if you want something different.

Overall, the Walking Dead continues to deliver a great and compelling story and that it had me following it from start to end. As we move to the penultimate episode, I am excited to see where this all leads up to and what will ultimately happen to this new town and the people we have come to love.

All I can confirm with absolution is that I loved it and it's an experience I will take on again. I will read theories and I will understand the certain mental issues discussed. I will listen to the game's soundtrack because the music is beautiful; it's jazzy and relaxing. I will, also, most probably download wallpaper for my phone because I can guarantee, it has too much heart and soul to not be forgotten.

While Sniper Elite 4 may not be a game for every breed of gamer, if you’re a fan of slowly finding ways to efficiently kill Nazis then Sniper Elite 4 might just be the game for you.

6 / 10.0 - Lego Worlds
Mar 18, 2017

I’m hoping that the game would add more features in the future like adding their famous Lego franchise characters in the mix like the Lego Batman or Lego Jurassic Park. I think that would be something that would really draw me back to the game.

I did have some fun and enjoyable moments. Although, Ghost Recon Wildlands had potential but it didn’t manage to keep up with the standards of open-world games similar to Watch_Dogs 2 and Grand Theft Auto V. It has too many setbacks that prevents the game from reaching its true potential.

Styx: Shards of Darkness improves from Master of Shadows on many fronts and introduced a lot of new features that adds more depth to the franchise. But the failure to completely address control issues from the previous game prevents me from enjoying the game to its fullest.

8.5 / 10.0 - Yakuza 0

Yakuza 0 is unique in that you do not need any introduction to the series to enjoy it, it is a prequel after all.
