7.8 / 10.0 - The Quarry
Jun 8, 2022

The Quarry is the spiritual heir of Until Dawn: from the exclusive PlayStation of 2015 Supermassive Games takes up various themes, above all the ingenuity and cloying of the adolescent world, exploiting them as a starting point to tell a visceral horror, buried under an ancient mythology and to be discovered.

Before concluding, it must finally be remembered that Nintendo has promised free future updates, which will expand the title in terms of content with lots of new characters added to the starting roster. We'll see if the continued support promised by the Big N will be able to keep the Mario Strikers community alive months after its launch. In short, if on the one hand it is appreciable the effort of Nintendo to propose a more articulated online structure than its most recent productions, there is still the feeling that on the content level Battle League Football could have done something more.

Unfortunately, the definitive edition of Outward has not been able to redeem the original work in its entirety, because it has basically maintained its same strengths and weaknesses.

6 / 10.0 - Pac-Man Museum+
Jun 4, 2022

Compared to the "basic" PAC-MAN Museum, there is in Short, in Plus little more than a few playable new entries and a vaguely more sumptuous suit. Nothing that justifies a possible repurchase, and it is worth wondering if even users less accustomed to the worlds of Pac-Man, in the absence of that "museum" value that the title promises, can find satisfaction in front of a handful of episodes that, probably, will not be able to entertain for more than a few hit-and-run sessions.

8.5 / 10.0 - Card Shark
Jun 2, 2022

Card Shark is certainly one of the most unique and interesting titles of the year, the son of a completely crazy concept that works divinely from the first to the last second of gameplay.

Silt is a grayscale adventure in thalassophobia, it is to understand that we are just a small cog in the big machine.

For now TM 2022 is a discreet managerial simulation, rather satisfactory for tennis lovers but still characterized by a large margin for improvement.

8 / 10.0 - Kao the Kangaroo
May 27, 2022

While reinventing absolutely nothing, Kao the Kangaroo has proven to be a valid and enjoyable platformer.

Ultimately, Vampire the Masquerade: Swansong only partially honors the name it bears. The narrative sector stands on discrete levels, even if the main plot struggles to take off in the initial stages and the characterization of the protagonists can be said to be successful almost only for Leysha. The past of Galeb and Emem do not capture the audience properly, which will hardly feel the due empathy towards the characters, also due to facial animations that are too rigid.

7.5 / 10.0 - Sniper Elite 5
May 25, 2022

Even with a few too many technical flaws, Sniper Elite 5 continues to be an enjoyable and fun game, just like the chapters that preceded it. Thanks to the spectacular X-Ray kills, maps designed to be played several times, immediate gameplay and many different modes such as coop and invasions, the Rebellion title can keep the player busy much more than the ten hours required for the sole completion of the campaign.

8 / 10.0 - Freud's Bones
May 24, 2022

Ultimately, Freud's Bones is a successful experiment, despite a downsizing of its ambitions compared to the initial project. The dynamics proposed by the point &click adventure make up a coherent and immediately accessible framework, which effectively guides players to discover sigmund Freud's inner world.

Giving up the winning features boasted by the licensed musou launched at the turn of 2020 and 2021, Touken Ranbu Warriors was lacking in every respect. The longevity reduced the bone, the absence of secondary modes and mechanics capable of differentiating a minimum of the offer, without forgetting a non-existent level of difficulty, make it a product absolutely not up to the current standards of Omega Force.

5 / 10.0 - Dolmen
May 21, 2022

Extremely derivative on a playful level and technically insufficient even by the standards of the last generation (and beyond), Dolmen is an experiment that has only minimally succeeded.

9 / 10.0 - Citizen Sleeper
May 18, 2022

Citizen Sleeper is a breath of fresh air for a genre like science fiction, increasingly inclined to self-cite and enhance its aesthetics, leaving the content partially in the shadows. Its settings, although not directly observable, are alive, pulsating, and inside it is possible to intertwine with the stories of the inhabitants of Erlin's Eye.

7.5 / 10.0 - Evil Dead: The Game
May 16, 2022

Being enveloped by the atmosphere of Evil Dead: The Game, the cold of dismay and the warmth of blood is a real pleasure: the beauty of terror is more evident than ever and allows the franchise to get out of that vortex of negativity that has overwhelmed its videogame incarnations.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is an appetizer prepared for admirers of Murayama's work who cannot quench their appetite while waiting for Hundred Heroes. With obvious limitations and problems that are not always easily digestible, Rising is a work recommended mostly to all those who do not want to miss even a piece of the Eiuyuden Chronicle universe.

8.2 / 10.0 - Salt and Sacrifice
May 9, 2022

It's really incredible to think that only two people made Salt and Sacrifice. The new project of the small team does not propose the level of balance of the most impressive productions but still manages to go close. Net of a series of uncertainties, Salt and Sacrifice is a gem that will make the joy of all soulslike lovers eager to delight in an adventure capable of putting them to the test but decidedly smaller in size than a giant like Elden Ring.
