Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a game divided into two very well designed and distinct parts, but which at the same time are able to relate in a very cohesive and functional whole. Sometimes, it has a preciosity in the narrative cadence, but it has great mechanics both in combat and cultivation, a charming story and very good visuals.

With one of the best soundtracks for a game of the genre, Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! is an excellent example of how chaos can become relaxing when receiving a gold medal. Despite being an investment that will make you VERY hungry, it will also provide you with dozens of hours of fun, especially if you choose to play with a second person.

Using the impeccable soundtrack of the entire saga, Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory is, in addition to a great rhythmic game, an excellent recap of everything that has happened in the the series so far.

85 / 100 - The Pathless
Nov 10, 2020

The Pathless has a slow start, but the journey is rewarding. The technical part, the soundtrack and the game world are incredible. It can be considered repetitive later on, but the gameplay and the boss battles make up for that. It's hard to say in words, but the "experience" of playing The Pathless is unique.

90 / 100 - DiRT 5
Nov 9, 2020

Following today's racing game trends, DiRT 5 explores the best of speed in the style of the great games of this generation. The automotive experience seeks to bring the maximum fidelity both in models and in simulation of driving aligned to factors such as response to commands and a great soundtrack. Despite bringing many aspects from games like Forza Horizon, the developer shows evolution by producing its fifth title in the series confirming the authenticity of this speed franchise.

Watch Dogs: Legion promised a lot, however, the excess of information ends up not giving due focus to what he really sells: recruiting agents. With many passable, tiring side quests and several bugs, Legion delivers an inferior product than its predecessor.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla ends this trilogy in the series in a very satisfactory way. The return of stealth to its origins is great, the combat keeps the same structure from the previous games and the story is up to par with its predecessors. It is a pity that the PS4 version suffers from several technical problems, but other than that, it is a mandatory game for fans of the franchise and manages to capture the Viking spirit well in their adventures.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is the definitive edition of one of the best games released by Capcom. Whoever played the original can take advantage of technical improvements, new modes and Vergil. But, in general, the game remains basically the same, so I strongly recommend it to those who haven't checked out the original yet.

85 / 100 - Ghostrunner
Nov 8, 2020

Without mercy, Ghostrunner is one of those games that you will hate the fact that you don't want to stop playing even when it looks like you've reached your limit. Narratively it does not present anything very significant, but it is visually incredible and presents agile and aggressive gameplay, and it does perfectly well what it proposes, even when it flirts with punitive exaggeration.

Onee Chanbara Origins lacks a lot in terms of content and its combat has simply not progressed well with the new changes. It's a title that, perhaps, will become a foundation for a special game in the future, but for the moment, I can recommend only to the most dedicated fans of the series.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is relatively short, but it is still exceptional. Miles' gameplay manages to be different enough from Peter, even though the base of both is similar. The story is interesting, but a little predictable and much less "epic". Despite these points, it is an excellent addition to the PS4 (and now PS5) library.

80 / 100 - Amnesia: Rebirth
Nov 5, 2020

The new chapter of Amnesia delivers an intriguing and well-crafted horror story, which promises to please fans of H.P. Lovecraft's supernatural tales. The game inherits many of the features introduced in "The Dark Descent", but does not deliver a remarkable evolution in gameplay. Although the gameplay structure is a little archaic, the experience is recommended for its deep and immersive narrative.

Cobra Kai The Karate Kid Saga Continues brings good doses of nostalgic fun, but presents some technical and audiovisual problems that cannot be ignored. There are qualities, such as a big progression system, good humor and a wide variety of characters and special movements, but those who are not fans of the genre or the franchise will find few attractions here compared to similar games on the market.

70 / 100 - Mad Rat Dead
Nov 3, 2020

Mad Rat Dead tried to be a good rhythmic and platform game but it ends up being not very memorable for any genre. Despite having an addictive soundtrack, the gameplay is repetitive, the bosses are forgettable and its pace does not always match what you should or would like to do.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is one of the best narrative experiences of the year and a fantastic sci-fi tale that will please all fans of giant robots. Although the combat leaves a little to be desired, it does enough to take nothing away from the spectacular artistic style and the story being told.

85 / 100 - Wonder Blade
Nov 1, 2020

While originality is an important aspect, Wonder Blade is so adorable that it is virtually impossible not to like it. Everything works especially well, even though it is strange to have to go back to the initial menu to evolve some aspects of the character. The artistic style, animations and gameplay flow and the narrative and progression simplicity attest positively to the work.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope has a history and mechanics superior to its predecessor. However, there is a "pattern" in the plot that must be broken, as well as the way they build the characters. If the mechanics remain the same in the future, chances are its successors will fall into sameness.

94 / 100 - A Tale of Paper
Oct 30, 2020

Based on the identity of the mechanics and proposals of other indie titles, A Tale of Paper is a game that stands out for the way it makes the best of this segment without the famous tributes to great titles of the past. In order to promote an experience focused on human sensations, technical factors such as graphics and soundtrack stand out to sharpen the senses, allowing a reflection on what it is to love and the search for the self.

75 / 100 - The Survivalists
Oct 28, 2020

The Survivalists is not one of the most original games of all time, but it manages to deliver everything that it proposes to the player, with a great creation system (although it is more truncated than it should be), a neat pixel art look and secrets every time more curious for the more dedicated, offering an extra dose of fun to play alone or with other people.
