The Mobius Machine is, at its core, a decent metroidvania hampered by the disproportion between the enormous size of its map and the low variety of scenarios, discoveries, rewards, and even resources that help revisit the world more efficiently. Those who like challenges will have something to find here, but for the rest, the real challenge will be to maintain interest and patience.

Visually unstable and mechanically simple, it's a recommendation for fans of the genre who don't expect to get involved with a great story, but rather with the misadventures of a friend-making aficionado.

Pesterquest is a direct sequel, in terms of theme, story, and mechanics, to the previous game. Without any substantial improvement, what is left is the same sharp text, but one that doesn't dare beyond what we've seen before in the franchise. Even with some visual improvements, it's nothing more than a "more-of-the-same".
