Despite being over a decade old, Shadow of the Colossus remains one of the best games of all time. Thanks to Bluepoint Games, the game has received a total make over, making this classic feel like a modern one. With improved frame rates and exemplary visuals, this is one of the games PS4 owner must have.
One thing that makes Monster Hunter: World so hard to review is there is simply so much here to see and explore. With a variety of different weapons, plenty of monsters, some free upcoming content and countless secrets, there is little to dislike. Sure, the online system could be a bit better and the story sucks, but it is easily forgotten once you get a team together to hunt. So, if you're looking for a deep, thoughtful and beautiful game, you can't go wrong with Monster Hunter: World. However, if you're not interested in learning the mechanics or get frustrated very easily, this one isn't for you.
Unfortunately, with fighting games making a massive push towards teaching newcomers how to play, Dragon Ball FighterZ does little to assist. Some features, such as replay, make it easier to understand the timing, with more enjoyment coming from watching than anything learned. That being said, the graphics are stunning and captures the show's iconic shonen style perfectly.
The first episode is by far the best one of Season 2 and Telltale has yet to reach the same highs. 'What Ails You' picks up at the end thanks to the Joker, but it's not as exciting as other episodes. Hopefully The Enemy Within ends with a bang with episode 5 in a few week's time!
In the end, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker's Memory feels a lot like the previous title.
Long story short, Street Fighter V was never a bad game, just a lacking game, which Arcade Edition corrects.
With almost everything costing 10 times what it is worth, weak base content and an impossibly long grind for what limited content there is, it's practically impossible to see a bright side to Raiders of the Broken Planet. Well, besides the fact practically no one is falling for it.
For better or worse, Curse of Osiris is more of the same.
Anyway, Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 ends on a high note with episode 5. It has a decent conclusion and one of the best boss fights I have ever played in a Telltale video game. Season 2 will make a perfect Christmas gift for anyone in the family that loves Minecraft and Telltale video games in general.
If you want a good story and don't mind if it's a tad on the predictable side, you'll enjoy Life is Strange: Before the Storm. However, if you want some twists and turns, with crazy reveals, this won't make you happy.
Overall, Okami HD is an essential purchase if you have never played the game before.
In the end, Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package is a solid experience for PlayStation gamers.
Overall Nine Parchments is a mixed bag for me as a game.
In the end, The Surge: A Walk in the Park feels like it wants to correct the sins of the past, resulting in returning players getting an underwhelming experience. With lackluster armor, easy to defeat foes, a forgettable story and a setting that could've been far more exciting, we're not left with much. Sure, fans will likely enjoy it and it offers a lot for newcomers, even a map for one of the most dreaded sections of the game, it just doesn't do enough to stand out.
If you're looking for something quick and fun to play with family or friends over the holiday season look no further.
Overall, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) is still a fun game thanks to more content than it had two years ago and an exciting single player campaign that is actually canon to the Star Wars universe.
