7 / 10.0 - Super Crush KO
Jan 22, 2020

Super Crush KO offers up some fluid action that proves to be addictive. However, the weak boss encounters and bewildering lack of two-player co-op hold the game firmly in the 'good but not great' territory. Fans of Vertex Pop's prior work will still want to check it out, especially those who enjoy climbing leaderboards.

Ultimate Racing 2D is a simple game that gets the core features of the top-down racing genre just right.

7 / 10.0 - Dauntless
Jan 19, 2020

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the loop of hunting monsters and collecting their parts to craft better weapons and armor. That being said, its performance issues in the open-world hub and the inability to earn any substantial amount of platinum through regularly playing the game inhibits me from giving further praise. However, with some improvements, this game could be a sleeper hit within the library of free-to-play Nintendo Switch games.

8.5 / 10.0 - To The Moon

To The Moon is a game I can tell someone put a lot of passion and heart into.

Crazy Zen Mini Golf serves up a triple bogey, with an awful camera and game-breaking glitches among its worst offenses.

My time with Nicky Home Alone Golf Ball was filled with mixed feelings. While I enjoyed my time playing it, for the most part, the control issues did cause some frustration. For the asking price of .99-cents, it is hard not to say don't buy it despite the frustration it still can be a fun game.

My time spent with Funny Bunny Adventure was entertaining. I found the upgrade system to be a step forward. It made it feel slightly more than basic. I highly recommend it for players with younger children.

7 / 10.0 - Melbits World
Jan 11, 2020

Melbits World is, by far, one of the cutest puzzle-platformers you will play through. Utilizing that charm, cuteness, and design, this title offers something I could see families playing through together, but the lack of single player and replayability hurt the overall package.

6 / 10.0 - Jets‘n’Guns
Jan 7, 2020

Jets'n'Guns is a fair shooter that suffers from some user interface and menu issues. It's still a tough and fun time if you're up for some blasting action, and worth a look for fans of the genre.

If you can handle the level grind and upgrade treadmill, Event Horizon – Space Defense is a fun arcade action/adventure role-playing mash-up. If you need more player engagement, the level grinding can become a bit mundane.

This is a slow-paced game, and my modest fish hauls suggest it will be a while before it picks up speed. Still, while I'm no simulation enthusiast (and perhaps never will be), I've had success insofar as I've been entertained. Fishing: Barents Sea Complete Edition is a good title, albeit one Nintendo Switch owners might want to grab at a discount sale price.

9 / 10.0 - SIMULACRA
Dec 31, 2019

Simulacra is a very clever game that, despite the simplicity of both its premise and gameplay, immerses you into it and doesn't let you go until you've solved the mystery.

10 / 10.0 - Alien: Isolation
Dec 31, 2019

Alien Isolation provides an utmost emotionally pulling experience, and runs flawlessly on the Nintendo Switch. The game truly is a testament to what can be done by third-party developers and porting studios.

7 / 10.0 - Pulstario
Dec 31, 2019

Pulstario is another frustrating arcade experience that has just enough to offer to make it something that sets itself apart. Between the killer soundtrack and accessibility options, I found myself not able to put it down until I had beaten its 30-minute campaign.

8 / 10.0 - Asdivine Kamura
Dec 31, 2019

Asdivine Kamura is a strong RPG. The controls are smooth and the graphics are well done. I personally felt there wasn't too much depth with the characters when it came to development, but I enjoyed my time with the crew nonetheless.

7 / 10.0 - Mushroom Quest
Dec 31, 2019

Puzzle fans seeking a light diversion may not want to devote the time required to solve some of the later challenges in Mushroom Quest, but serious solvers are going to be pleased with this purchase. Long live the block (and the mushrooms that push it).

Zen Studios has brought the usual amount of quality care in updating Pinball FX3 with this latest DLC pack. While the table trio varies in enjoyment, even the "worst" is still really solid. Williams Pinball – Volume 5 is a very good collection, one that could likely be considered a must for big enthusiasts.

Although I can't fully pinpoint exactly one thing that made The Talos Principle great, there was something about the game that just felt incredible while playing. It provides such an amazing puzzle-solving experience that's backed by an overall strong story that I can't recommend this game enough.

5 / 10.0 - Riverbond
Dec 26, 2019

Riverbond coaxes you in with its charming feel and aesthetically pleasing voxel graphics, only to thrust you into a monotonous hack 'n' slash. With the plethora of other games that have interesting art styles and incredible looks, it is hard to let the gameplay here slide, even with its comedic relief and destructible environments as a backer.
