7 / 10.0 - Tron: Catalyst
Jun 25, 2025

TRON: Catalyst is a visually stylish game that respects the essence of the franchise and delivers an interesting narrative, especially for fans of the TRON universe. However, the gameplay experience falls short of its potential. The combat is functional but simplistic; the glitch mechanic, despite being promising, is underutilized; exploration is shallow, with no real incentives, and the main campaign is short and lacking in challenge.

Architect Life: A House Design Simulator works — and that’s the long and short of it. There is no secret behind these four walls: it is simply a house-building simulator that, despite probably running better than leviathan The Sims 4 in certain computers, doesn’t present a lot of variety beyond that. It is worth it for those looking for a relaxing title, but consider comparing it to other options in the market.

Chronicles of the Wolf gets almost everything right in what it sets out to do. Despite its clear inspiration from Castlevania, it manages to establish its own identity, delivering a challenging, lengthy game filled with secrets and a thunderous soundtrack. For better or worse, it’s a classic adventure against darkness just like in the old days — and certainly one of the best of its kind.

6 / 10.0 - Projected Dreams
Jun 21, 2025

Projected Dreams is a curious puzzle of light and shadows and it's possible to notice the team's effort in making it so each chapter brought a new gimmick to add variety to the challenges. However, the way the game handles physics and how it limits object control is frustrating and there are many issues that make it not a highlight within the genre.

6 / 10.0 - AI Limit
Jun 19, 2025

Although the anime aesthetic is eye-catching at first glance, AI Limit delivers functional but reductionist gameplay, quickly becoming exploitable as the player masters the parry system. The result, as a whole, lacks consistency and identity, stuck in a gray and overly protocolary approach within its genre. It may still have some value to the niche audience it's trying to reach, but it's still a factually forgettable bureaucratic experience that fails to stand out from the crowd.

The idea behind Rooftops & Alleys is creative and applied in an interesting way. However, the combination of repetitiveness and some control flaws end up damaging the game's qualities. Even so, it might be worth giving it a chance to venture through vertical landscapes while performing risky maneuvers, but be careful not to fall off a building by mistake.

Perennial Dusk -Kinsenka- is an aesthetically pleasant visual novel and offers an interesting premise. However, the plot is handled poorly in rhythm and quality, making it easier to recommend other games in the genre.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army delivers an experience that deeply respects its roots while implementing key improvements to make it more accessible today. Its immersive setting, stylized characters, and agile combat with strategic elements enhance the charm of the title, while the supernatural story keeps interest from start to finish. The addition of new content and customization features also extends the journey's duration and appeal. On the other hand, some limitations from the original still linger. The linear structure, unintuitive exploration, and shallow use of investigation show that the game could have taken more risks in certain aspects. Nonetheless, the balance between nostalgia and renewal works: RAIDOU Remastered is a great opportunity to revisit — or experience for the first time — a unique and intriguing chapter of the Shin Megami Tensei universe.

7.5 / 10.0 - Star Overdrive
Jun 18, 2025

While Star Overdrive reaps the rewards of its bold proposal, it also suffers in some areas. The results are more than positive, with an engaging adventure full of exploration through fun surfing, as well as cool special abilities, great for solving puzzles and explore this enchanting world. Other elements fell short and limited the overall experience, but it is still worth checking out, especially for those who enjoy an original and refreshing game.

Awita: Journey of Hope is visually beautiful and delivers responsive controls and fluid animations. In other words, it has the solid skeleton of a good metroidvania, but it lacks substance to cover those thin bones. The lack of content in terms of systems, level design and items is further mitigated by its short length, as the game ends before the player gets tired of it. Without something to compensate for its shortcomings, there is nothing to make it reach the average of the genre.

Rainbow Six Siege X represents an important milestone in the game's history, cementing the franchise's longevity with a combination of technical modernization, the inclusion of new content, and a more open access model to the public. The graphical improvements, the audio refinement, and the arrival of the new Dual Front mode show that Ubisoft is committed to keeping the game relevant in a competitive market, even after 10 years of activity.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition succeeds in its mission to revitalize the 2011 cult classic for a new generation. However, the simplistic nature of this remaster prevents it from being strongly recommended and may frustrate those who expected a more polished experience that is closer, graphically speaking, to its acclaimed sequel.

Elden Ring Nightreign is an experience that, while sharing similarities with the main game, sets itself apart in subtle ways. It’s a distilled version of the massive 2022 title, but its greatest strengths lie in its fast-paced combat, shorter runtime, and high-speed gameplay. It offers an engaging challenge for veterans, while also serving as a great entry point for those who don’t want to deal with the monumental scale of FromSoftware’s larger works.

8.5 / 10.0 - Date Everything!
Jun 12, 2025

Date Everything! is a pretty crazy idea that turned into an interesting dating sim, packed with content and full of charming characters — thanks to both its witty writing and its quirky, creative visuals. Even though the gameplay loop can get a bit repetitive and there are some rough edges in the controls, it’s one of those unique experiences that only indie games can offer.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Alters
Jun 12, 2025

The idea of mixing strategic management with existential drama and science fiction results in a game that will demand both the player's technical and social skills. This is where my perception of it being a weird subversion of a farm simulator, such as Story of Seasons, comes into play. It's just that instead of planting turnips, milking cows and trying to woo some of the village's bachelorettes (or bachelors), we have to mine an inhospitable planet, maintain a functional mobile base and prevent alternative versions of ourselves from killing each other. In short, The Alters can be as welcoming as it is irritating — but it is also unique in its own way.

Looking at its basic premise, Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey & Friends does a great job. Its metroidvania-style platform adventure that works well, with a top-notch production and fun challenges. The problem is that there are some issues that harm the experience for both kids (Brazilians mostly) and (especially) for other audiences. I leave this recommendation for platform fans and lovers of this beloved corner of the Disney universe.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die offers a solid formula that blends intense action with elements of luck in a dark and stylized universe. The striking setting, variety of weapons, and customization options provide enjoyable moments throughout the campaign. The combat stands out for being fast-paced and challenging, and although the dice mechanics aren’t as influential as promised, there’s still room to experiment with different battle approaches. However, the experience is limited by repetitive environments and enemies, as well as a progression system that’s less deep than it seems. The unpredictability hinted at by the theme rarely has a significant impact on gameplay, diminishing the player's decisions. Still, while it lasts, The Eternal Die offers an engaging journey, appreciated for its aesthetic and pace, even if it doesn't take as many risks as it could have.

MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED BATTLE DESTINY REMASTERED brings a fair action experience and nothing more than that. There are many polish issues and a campaign that cuts down the narrative to focus on a combat that's jankier than it should be. It's still possible to have fun with the game, especially for those who know the saga and just want to turn off the brain with giant robot battles, but there are better options in the market for those looking for good action experiences.

7.5 / 10.0 - South of Midnight
Jun 7, 2025

South of Midnight is an experience that unfolds like a fireside fable: intimate, full of symbols, charged with memories. For those seeking something different, something that whispers rather than screams, this is a journey worth experiencing.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 represents the peak of an emotional story and preserves the quality of its predecessors, with an engaging narrative, strategic combat, and the ability to evoke a wide range of emotions in short periods of time. While the new features aren’t particularly groundbreaking, they add an interesting dynamic to the gameplay, allowing for more varied approaches throughout the campaign. Even so, there's a lingering feeling that these elements could have been more ambitious, making this sequel more memorable.
