7.5 / 10.0 - Pacer
Oct 29, 2020

Clearly inspired by titles like Wipeout and F-Zero, Pacer slips a little in its presentation and proposal, but it respects the history of these classics. An uncompromised title, whose main highlight is its beautiful visuals and a fast and intense action, especially in the higher categories. A title worthy of the legacy it wants to represent and that will please fans of the genre.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Survivalists
Oct 28, 2020

The Survivalists has its merits. The adventure has good ideas and manages to provide good moments (especially in multiplayer), but veteran players will soon realize that there is a lack of content after a few hours, and the absence of a more robust challenge unfortunately can also result in a tranquility that dangerously borders on monotony. The base built here is solid, and I hope that the developers keep the promises established by the roadmap and deliver new content in the future.

8.5 / 10.0 - Iwaihime
Oct 28, 2020

Iwaihime is an excellent visual novel that develops an interesting and intense supernatural mystery. Though the horror is diminished over time and some serious topics aren't handled with care at a few moments, understanding the curse and how it affects the characters becomes an engrossing narrative over time and makes it a strong emotional experience until the end.

9 Monkeys of Shaolin does much more than just join the vast list of beat ‘em ups: it is among the best of its kind. Sobaka Studio not only inserted all the elements that I consider essential, but also knew how to go further, adding aspects that differentiate it from the majority and that work very well with the frantic and exciting style of these games. The character's evolution structure prolongs the title's longevity for those who like grinding without making it mandatory for players who despise this mechanic.

7.5 / 10.0 - GONNER2
Oct 26, 2020

GONNER2 is a fast-paced run and gun adventure. It is exciting to defeat enemies in combos while escaping danger, especially when death is often on the prowl. The exotic setting stands out and it is a delight to explore its colorful world, even if it is common to get lost in the visual confusion. The difficulty is severe and you will die a lot until you reach the end of the adventure. Unfortunately, the content of the game is limited, roguelike aspects, such as different equipment and procedural generation, alleviate this feeling, even if it is not always enough. In the end, GONNER2 is an intense and brief experience.

Trails of Cold Steel comes to an end in episode 4, after seven years of story, by bringing a satisfying conclusion to fans of the saga and bringing together dozens of characters we know throughout the games. Despite maintaining the same combat system with some balancing on specific things, the gameplay is fun and consistent. The game is a beautiful service to fans, delivering dozens of hours of content to end the story in a dignified way.

6 / 10.0 - Cloudpunk
Oct 25, 2020

Cloudpunk is sensitively impeccable and presents an immersive futuristic atmosphere with high quality visuals and soundscapes, designed exclusively to delight the eyes and ears of the players. It is a title focused on exploration and narrative with some thought-provoking and sad stories, almost like a self-portrait of our own reality, where the characters are victims of the inequality of a system corrupted by richer organizations. It is a pity that much of this is lost in a fragile playable structure, where repetition and countless loading screens corrupt the entire package, resulting only in an exhausting and not very challenging journey.

G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout is nothing more than a generic shooting title that has gained a visual identity based on an established franchise. Its gameplay is inaccurate, its content is scarce and it is not exciting, abusing of repetition. Unfortunately, this is yet another defeat for both Joes and Cobras

7.5 / 10.0 - The Signifier
Oct 23, 2020

The Signifier is a very interesting investigation game due to its strong atmosphere of suspense and sci-fi ambience. With several thought-provoking elements in the story, fans of adventure titles in general can feel truly rewarded by the game if they like more open works, which evoke reflection. However, the many small misunderstandings prevent the game from reaching its potential.

8.5 / 10.0 - Disc Room
Oct 22, 2020

Disc Room is an agile and unique dodge 'em up. Trying to dodge lethal discs and other dangers in small arenas is both difficult and exciting, and the fun is to figure out how to overcome the countless complicated stages. There is a good variety of situations in the compact adventure, with puzzles, secrets and a more difficult mode for those willing to face a good challenge. Small technical problems and some balance issues hinder the experience, but options to adjust the difficulty allow players of different skill levels to enjoy the game. Brief and intense, Disc Room is for those looking for a good challenge.

Ben 10: Power Trip is not the most beautiful and well-made of the hero's games, but we have to recognize the merits of the title for bringing much of the essence of current open world games, even if in a more simplified way, to a title clearly aimed at children in a very interesting and efficient way. It is a game that, without a doubt, I would love to play in my 10 years if it had been released some 10 years ago.

8.5 / 10.0 - Crown Trick
Oct 20, 2020

Crown Trick uses turn-based movement and roguelike elements to create an exciting dungeon crawler. The highly tactical combat is its biggest highlight: simple concept mechanics and a wide range of skills allow you to build different strategies, and it is very rewarding to create devastating elemental combos. The challenge is intense and fair most of the time, but peaks of difficulty and unbalanced aspects are a little uncomfortable. In addition, an interesting world, great visuals and a clear interface make exploration enjoyable. In the end, the result is a remarkable, intense and engaging experience - I keep trying to escape the Nightmare World even after countless defeats.

7.5 / 10.0 - Bite the Bullet
Oct 20, 2020

With a very interesting basic idea, Bite the Bullet is like one of those traditional simple buffet restaurants. On the one hand, you will find a lot of good things, like beautiful visuals, fun challenges and a lot of content to explore. On the other hand, sophistication and care for details will be in the background. In the end, the result is still a good game, perfect for those who love to taste a good roguelite accompanied with elements of platform and RPG.

8 / 10.0 - Highway Blossoms
Oct 19, 2020

The charm of Highway Blossoms is in the characters and the way the dynamics between them develop. More than a great narrative, the search for gold is just a trigger to bring characters together and tell a story that is both mundane and emotionally captivating. For those interested in seeing two women of apparently antagonistic personalities getting to know each other better and becoming a couple, this game is an interesting option.

8 / 10.0 - Foregone
Oct 19, 2020

Despite not innovating in much, the gameplay and the freedom provided to build the protagonist's skills are two extremely relevant points to consider Foregone a great addition to the platform action genre. Players who like to collect better and better equipment and seek a moderate level of challenge will be very well served here.

7.5 / 10.0 - Ikenfell
Oct 16, 2020

Ikenfell is an RPG that captivates with its charisma. The journey of the group of magic students is punctuated by great story moments and good character development, and the retro atmosphere gives its universe a unique charm. Structurally, the game features classic exploration concepts and interesting tactical combat - mixing positioning and action commands was a good idea. However, the title is compromised by conservative aspects and balance issues that can make things frustrating. In the end, Ikenfell is a pleasant experience, even if it is not very special.

8 / 10.0 - Ring of Pain
Oct 15, 2020

Ring of Pain manages to provide a unique dungeon crawling experience by combining cards, RPG and roguelike elements. It is exciting to explore small floors in the form of rings, mainly because of the various situations that evoke puzzles, positioning and strategy. The basic mechanics are simple, but there are several nuances and possibilities to master, which encourages constant experimentation. Many resources allow you to deal with the brutal difficulty, but some inconsistencies hinder the experience a little. The macabre and disconcerting setting is good, bringing an atmosphere of tension and strangeness all the time. In the end, Ring of Pain is for those looking for a good challenge - I keep trying to understand its cryptic universe, even if it requires dying a lot.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time does not feature any major innovations, but it is still excellent enough to entertain and delight. It is a sequel worthy of a successful series with enhanced elements from the original trilogy, renewed visual and soundtrack and competent and challenging gameplay. The inclusions of new playable characters, varied environments and mechanics from the four quantum masks are quite satisfactory, and the comic tone coupled with the great dubbing helps to create an unforgettable and extremely funny adventure.
