Fans will view Superchargers as the next evolution in Skylanders and I hope to see the vehicles being used in incoming Skylanders titles because it really does add a whole new layer of first-rate entertainment to the mix. Let's rock and ride!
Undertale is like Earthbound if it were a Hayao Miyazaki movie: strange, interesting, and profoundly unique.
It's a fun little distraction that doesn't require too much attention to enjoy.
There's some interesting stuff for arcade aficionados, but Circa Infinity isn't quite there for anyone else.
Afro Samurai 2 is so bad it actually made me physically disheartened to play it.
Overall, NBA Live 2016 is another sports game. I did have fun while I was playing it; however, it seemed like there was a serious barrier between my understanding of basketball and how much fun I could have. Serious basketball fans will no doubt enjoy it, but if you're not a serious basketball fan, while it might make a decent game for when you have friends over, I think Mario Party would do the exact same thing.
It's originality and charm make it stand out from the rest of the XBLA marketplace's indie titles.
Warlocks vs. Shadows was a fun and well-rounded Beat 'em Up that featured some cool characters with unique and entertaining spells and attacks.
The next episodes of Albino Lullaby need to keep breaking the physical boundaries of this strange environment while forging a more consistent identity.
It captures the spirit of Warhammer's lighter side and translates it beautifully onto the screen.
This new iteration of NHL recovers from last year's sizable stumble by reinstating the excised features and making improvements on them which make them more enjoyable and easier to get into.
The game makes such a point to establish itself as a tangential side story to the franchise that I have trouble recommending it to even the most avid of Persona collectors.
Destiny takes the best parts of Halo and combines them with the worst parts of Borderlands.
FIFA 16 doesn't introduce a whole lot of interesting new changes, but it's still an exceptional soccer simulator.
Microsoft and Turn10 have done a wonderful job putting together another Forza game that is near flawless from an artistic and technical viewpoint.
At its best, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is charming. At its worst, it's very tedious.
SOMA is one of those once-in-a-generation experiences that so wildly defies both expectation and assumptions that I can say with confidence that it will forever impact how we define video games.
It's bizarre, thought-provoking, and challenging enough to keep you invested for hours.
Disney Infinity 3.0 definitely managed to improve on last year's model. With the fluid combat, even more Toy Box Hub options, and gameplay to cater to every play style, there are endless hours of fun here and I could write pages and pages for this review, but no one wants to read a novel. So instead, pick it up and play it to appreciate it for yourself.
Skyshine's Bedlam is a worthy addition to my collection.
