Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is a delightful fairy tale with a brief but enjoyable experience. It combines the core gameplay of Death Stranding with a world inspired by Studio Ghibli. The result is a charming delivery-based game that is visually pleasing and well-made. Worth trying, but don't expect high complexity."

Tales of Graces F Remastered unites the best of the past with improvements for modern players. Despite some age-related limitations, it's a must-play for JRPG fans and an interesting choice for those looking to discover a classic. With its engaging combat system and timeless story, it remains a cornerstone in the JRPG scene.

I must confess, it's been since the days of Hokuto No Ken on PS3 that I enjoyed a musou game this much, primarily due to my love for the character created by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara. In the case of Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the hours spent roaming the Three Kingdoms of China are thanks to a revamped gameplay that marries the scale of battles typical of the genre with more refined and satisfying mechanics. A fun and well-structured combat system is accompanied by dynamic and challenging missions that go beyond mindless button mashing. While the decision to downplay the massive roster of playable characters might be criticized, it has made Dynasty Warriors: Origins an excellent reboot for the series and one of the most enjoyable and well-executed musou games, even from a purely technical standpoint. We can be broadly satisfied with the choices made by Omega Force.

75 / 100 - Arken Age
Jan 16, 2025

2025 for virtual reality looks promising, thanks to the overall quality of Arken Age. Vitruvius VR presents a solid and entertaining gameplay, complemented by a long campaign and impressive technical features. However, the repetitive environments and unremarkable script somewhat lessen the adventure of the scaly warrior Nara. Overall, navigating through the Bio-Chasm is an experience I recommend to anyone seeking a well-crafted and fun title.

Freedom Wars Remastered is a good product that does justice to a game full of original ideas that, mainly due to its PS Vita exclusivity, never got the recognition it deserved. This technical “resurrection,” despite some evident limitations, finally gives due credit to a hidden gem left in the "cellar" for a decade. The real advantage of this remaster is not just the (successful) nostalgic operation: it’s the potential. Freedom Wars Remastered calls loudly for a sequel. It’s a product that has the potential to evolve in every sense. The remaster is proof the gameplay, world, and mechanics still resonate with modern audiences and highlights how much more could be done with a true modern chapter.

As a big fan of the series, the idea of immersing myself in the world of Hawkins in Stranger Things VR was extremely enticing. However, while some aspects of the game pleasantly surprised me, others left me disappointed. The fidelity to the series' aesthetics and the overall atmosphere are undoubtedly the game's strong points. However, the repetitive gameplay and the lack of innovation in the plot dampened my enthusiasm.

It should be noted that Enotria: The Last Song is still a very enjoyable product despite the flaws we mentioned earlier. Our hope is that the Jyamma Games team will build upon what's good in this product and what needs fixing, aiming even higher in the future.

No, Sociable Soccer 25 is not Sensible Soccer, as Tower Studios' creation unfortunately lacks the charm of that legendary game. However, there is much of the 16-bit soccer spirit in this fun and entertaining arcade game, which retains the essential style and gameplay foundation of Jon Hare's masterpiece. Fast and accessible, Sociable Soccer 25 will delight those who miss pixelated matches that are spectacular despite their minimalistic style. The main drawbacks are the lack of any online mode and the inability to create custom tournaments, which are quite significant for a game of this kind. For those who are nostalgic like me, it is highly recommended, especially considering its relatively low price.

81 / 100 - Masters of Light
Dec 20, 2024

Not a revolution nor a watershed, but a "clean" and fun title: Masters of Light sits halfway between a classic game and a rhythm game, where you play as a deity of light facing a shadowy invasion. With five different powers to develop and 36 stages, each with a performance rating, Masters of Light offers decent replayability despite some content limitations. It's a fun experience with a hidden goal of physical exercise, at a price slightly below the standard.

50 / 100 - FAIRY TAIL 2
Dec 19, 2024

Fairy Tail 2 captures the essence of the manga and gives nostalgic moments to hardcore fans. However, the lack of innovation, repetitive gameplay, and dated technical execution make it a missed opportunity to expand the franchise's audience. While enjoyable for series lovers, it struggles to shine as an RPG.

Despite the notable names involved in the development of Fantasian: Neo Dimension, the title fails to fully uphold the pedigree of its creator, due to some unexpected design missteps from Sakaguchi-san. While the classic combat system can be a pleasant rediscovery, the inconsistent pacing of the adventure, especially in the chaotic second half, is harder to forgive. The conversion barely meets the minimum standards and does not adequately mitigate the visual legacy of its mobile development. Ultimately, Leo and his companions' adventure is an unfocused JRPG that alternates between good and more forgettable elements. It should only be considered if you have a lot of patience and can't resist the names Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu.

With Alien: Rogue Incursion, Survios once again showcases their expertise in creating engaging virtual experiences. Opting for a more action-focused approach rather than the stealth of Isolation, they successfully capture the essence of exploration and the franchise's tense atmosphere. Fans will enjoy Zula Hendricks' adventure in the claustrophobic environments of the Cradle of Castor, filled with elements that make the iconic xenomorph so captivating. The game is exciting and fun, though it has some coding issues and a somewhat repetitive final segment. Otherwise, it's a must-play for fans who love the thrill of space horror.

Despite minor gameplay flaws, MachineGames' new video game delivers a consistently enjoyable experience. It captivates players with its story, characters, atmosphere, and gameplay. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a remarkable tribute to a film saga over 40 years old and, without a doubt, the best thing featuring the world's most famous archaeologist since the original film trilogy.

Taito Milestones 3 is a nostalgic celebration, offering a genuine journey into the golden age of arcades. The game selection is among the best in the series, with classics like Bubble Bobble and Rastan Saga standing out for quality and replayability. However, the lack of extra content and modern improvements limits its appeal to a broader audience.

One could debate for hours, maybe days, on the actual value that remastered editions still hold today. Regardless of your tastes and judgment, we believe that the Legacy of Kain saga deserves to be replayed by all enthusiasts and discovered by those who haven't yet had the pleasure of stepping into the dark shoes of the vampire Raziel. What are you waiting for? Nosgoth awaits!

If there was one thing missing from the 2020 Flight Simulator, it was a more game-like element to attract a broader audience beyond hardcore fans of the genre. This gap is filled in the sequel with a well-structured career mode that, thanks to a variety of activities, further enhances the simulation aspect, which remains the core of the experience. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a grand achievement that improves on every aspect of its already exceptional predecessor—a more of the same crafted with remarkable intelligence and care by the team at Asobo. While it remains a simulator not suited to every taste, I’m confident it will captivate a new audience, as it did with me.

G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra is a game that lives off nostalgia and simplicity. For fans of the franchise and classic beat 'em ups, it's a must-play that brings back the glory days of the past. However, for those seeking a deeper or more innovative experience, the game may not meet expectations. It remains a fun title, perfect for evenings with friends and for those who want to relive the adrenaline of '80s arcades.

75 / 100 - DIG VR
Nov 28, 2024

There is a moment in DIG VR where the game reflects: "Many think it's crazy to use an excavator to clean up all this trash, but what should we use? Our hands?! As far as I'm concerned, we should solve every life problem with excavators." This is the essence of DIG VR. With its absurd situations and humor, DIG VR is a fun simulator that can offer a few hours of lighthearted entertainment when approached with the right attitude.

70 / 100 - Spirit Mancer
Nov 28, 2024

Spirit Mancer captures attention with its artistic style and frantic combat but lacks innovation in later stages. The narrative, despite a good start, remains flat, and the card system has the potential to be much deeper. Hack-and-slash fans will appreciate it, but it doesn't stand out compared to other games in the genre.

75 / 100 - Planet Coaster 2
Nov 27, 2024

Planet Coaster 2 builds on its predecessor, expanding the formula with the addition of water parks, offering fans of the genre something extra to enjoy. It could have been perfect if not for a few issues, such as lackluster AI and clunky controls on consoles, with an unintuitive interface and an imprecise path-building tool. While these problems could be fixed with a patch, they currently hinder an otherwise highly enjoyable experience.
