Bleach Rebirth of Souls is a great homage to fans of the anime and manga series, adapting most of the story arcs while adding a few new ones. While most of the story has been summarized, the way it is told is very weak, with well-made but poorly animated 3D models. The combat is suitable for newcomers to fighting games, with not too many combos to learn and more strategy to exploit. Unfortunately, the online component doesn't have much to offer, and with a disastrous launch on PC it certainly didn't help players to grow fond of the title.

South of Midnight is an excellent action adventure, absolutely worth trying on Game Pass. It captivated and intrigued us thanks to its incredible artistic style, a visual and narrative-exploratory component deeply rooted in Louisiana folklore and American Southern Gothic, as well as the evocative use of Southern American folk music. The game features a profound narrative, an intriguing gameplay system, and a unique atmosphere. However, it falls short in terms of gameplay, presenting overly simplistic mechanics, a repetitive gameplay routine, and combat sequences that can feel monotonous, along with some limitations in exploration—elements that may not satisfy all players. Nonetheless, it is such an evocative and original game that we hope Compulsion Games will continue on this path, perhaps with a more complex and longer sequel.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is an Adventure with a capital A, capable of making you feel like a true explorer of a wild planet among unknown species to interact with and breathtaking fights against primitive alien creatures. Although a particularly frustrating, slow and complex first half can initially cause disorientation, the second part of the title fully compensates with a much more fluid progression and a definitely more engaging combat system. And although the narrative has an uncertain pace, we still recommend without any hesitation that you climb aboard your favorite Skell to let yourself be captivated by this bold and unexpectedly deep sci-fi story.

The Darkest Files is an extremely engaging text-based adventure, capable of bringing us to the anguished post-war Germany thanks to an endearing writing and intriguing gameplay mechanics, even if not fully utilized. Although not free from flaws, including an excessive amount of bugs, the game manages to stand out for the depth of its message, today more than ever of fundamental significance.

Do No Harm is a simple but ambitious indie title, which mix elements of Victorian medicine and cosmic horror in an experience reminiscent of Papers, Please. The idea behind it is fascinating and the game manages to convey a sense of growing tension, between increasingly complex diagnoses and supernatural presences that threaten our mental and physical sanity. However, a poorly refined technical realization, an unbalanced difficulty and characters that are barely sketched out make it a little frustrating and boring. Ultimately, Do No Harm has the potential to be a unique medical/horror experience, but it needs corrections and improvements to reach the level of its ambitions. Corrections that fortunately Dart Games are committed to releasing soon.

Everhood 2 delivers a visually and emotionally impactful experience, with dynamic core gameplay that shines...though its narrative and some ambitious new mechanics don't always hit the mark.

Monster Hunter Wilds proves to be an ambitious evolution that aims to redefine the standards of the series, and the revolution implemented in worldbuilding and progression makes the title more immersive than ever, also thanks to the changes made to the gameplay. However, it is not without criticism, which we hope will reach the development team so that they can remedy it, as we have been used to. We are facing the present of the series, which draws on the past to create a point of reference that will dictate the future standards of the saga, and we cannot help but be curious to know what else Capcom has in store for us in the upcoming Title Updates.

Lost Records Part 1 is a half-successful graphic adventure that combines intriguing elements with aspects that don’t fully convince. While the story and narrative are of high quality, the pacing slows down in the second half, choices feel less impactful than expected, and the camera mechanics can sometimes feel forced.

Two Point Museum is definitely the most complex and deep title in the series to date; it successfully combines the classic humor of the series with new and fun management mechanics. The expedition system introduces an element of adventure that makes the experience even more dynamic and the variety of artifacts and visual elements offers a remarkable depth of gameplay that will provide dozens of hours of entertainment to fans of the genre. However, those expecting a radical change compared to previous games in the series may be disappointed: the core of the gameplay and the audiovisual component remains very (too?) similar to that of Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus.

The legendary Civilization saga returns with this highly anticipated installment, staying true to many of the elements that built its reputation while attempting to innovate—often in the worst ways. Some new features, like 'historical eras,' are not inherently bad ideas but currently disrupt the otherwise tight gameplay flow.

With its innovative mechanics, Rift of the Necrodancer completely reimagines the rhythm game genre, resulting in a unique and highly deserving title. However, not every aspect of the game feels fully developed, though this doesn't significantly detract from the overall experience.

Enchantment under the Sea is a great DLC that represents a significant improvement compared to previous expansions, both from a narrative and gameplay point of view, setting itself up as the correct evolution of the base game. Unfortunately, an unimaginative setting that does not honour either the original work or its sources of inspiration, and some rooted problems since the release of the title, once again prevent Atomic Heart from joining the big names of the genre, although it still is considered another step in the right direction.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector proves to be a worthy successor to the first chapter, managing to expand and improve on the original formula without distorting its essence. The narrative is still its strong point, with excellent, engaging writing that leads the player to ponder the Sleeper's fate. The introduction of new game mechanics adds further strategic depth to the experience, making every decision even more important. However, some elements of the gameplay are poorly balanced and the lack of Italian is a blow to those who are not fluent in English. Despite some flaws, the title proves to be a deep and engaging experience, offering hours of gameplay full of tension and meaningful choices. In short, for those who loved the first chapter and for fans of narrative RPGs, this is undoubtedly a title to be recovered.

Despite the many critical issues highlighted in the review, and despite the fears that have accompanied us since its announcement, we must admit that Avowed is a good game, we are not talking about a masterpiece, but without a doubt a very solid title.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was and still is an excellent game, capable of surpassing its predecessor in every aspect even on PC. The gameplay enhances the strengths of the previous video game iterations of Spider-Man, introducing improvements that sort out many of the critical issues of past chapters and effectively making it an experience that we can recommend without the slightest hesitation. It's a shame, however, that the porting isn't completely up to par.

The Stone of Madness is an ambivalent experience, primarily aimed at a niche audience. The intriguing plot and well-characterized characters create a dark and engaging atmosphere, typical of The Game Kitchen's works. However, the cumbersome and sometimes frustrating gameplay partially ruins the immersion. If you are a fan of the stealth genre and are willing to compromise with the controls, you might appreciate the unique atmosphere of this game; otherwise, with some updates and a bit of patience, it could turn into a cult title even for those who are not fans of the genre.

Tales of Graces F Remastered is an essential yet well-crafted restoration of a game that, until now, had remained trapped on past-generation consoles, bringing back the original experience in its entirety while enriching it with some QoL additions that can be enabled through a dedicated menu. While the technical aspect could have received more attention, this edition represents the definitive version of the game, perfect both for newcomers looking to experience this tale of friendship for the first time and for veterans eager to relive one of the most beloved entries in the series.

Age Of Darkness is an great RTS, with a narrative campaign that is not excellent but certainly enjoyable and long enough, considering however that the survival mode is the real point of interest for hardcore gamers. The graphics and sound are also excellent; the only flaws we found in this game, which are not insignificant, are the many bugs that made our games unnerving, together with path finding problems for allied troops and frame rate drops when the enemy hordes became really numerous.
