Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II sacrifices gameplay depth in favor of a slow, cinematic journey defined by sights, sounds, and interpretation... an experience not for everyone, but one of the most visually powerful and evocative of this generation

Rating Gears of War: Reloaded isn’t easy. The gameplay is still solid, fun, and true to the original, delivering the physicality and tactical tension that made the series famous. However, most of the updates are technical or cosmetic—better graphics, cross-play, and a few extra maps aren’t enough to make it a must-have for longtime fans. Reloaded feels more like a way to cash in on nostalgia, introduce the franchise to PlayStation players and new audiences, and keep the series alive until the next entry, rather than a true new release. Great for what it is, but hard to recommend at full price to veterans.

''Mafia: The Old Country'' is a title that impresses with its atmosphere, meticulously accurate historical reconstruction, and narrative intensity, even without innovating in gameplay. The main campaign, lasting around 12 hours, remains engaging from start to finish, but the extra mode and some dated mechanics may reduce its replayability. An imperfect game, yet one that leaves a mark, perfectly in continuity with the other installments of the series.

Eriksholm is the very definition of a surprise hit—an unforgettable title that rivals far bigger productions, excelling in story, gameplay, and technical execution for those willing to embrace its niche genre.

OFF is recommended for those seeking an unconventional experience, with a strong authorial vision and a passionate community always ready to theorize about the worldbuilding. It's a title that prioritizes emotional experience and atmosphere over complex gameplay or abundant optional content. If you loved Omori or Undertale, know that their spiritual predecessor will be able to deliver more than a few moments of joy in its brief—but intense—hours of gameplay.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a gritty return that stays true to the spirit of the saga, with gameplay that tests the player’s reflexes and precision. Although the story is fairly simple and having to complete a level in one go can be a bit frustrating, the game makes up for it with meticulously crafted pixel art, smooth animations, and a soundtrack that cleverly blends metal with traditional Japanese sounds.

Static Dread: The Lighthouse proved to be a refreshing break from the usual parade of cinematic AAA releases, offering a more contained yet no less gripping adventure. It draws players in with a mysterious world steeped in evocative Lovecraftian atmosphere, and a narrative that urges you to explore, to uncover and above all.. to doubt.

Wheel World stands out as an experience capable of offering hours of relaxed entertainment, unlike most of the titles currently on the market. Its strength lies in its polished aesthetics, excellent sound and enjoyable driving system, enhanced by effective customisation. However, it is penalised by a certain repetitiveness in the activities on offer and some technical issues that prevent it from achieving excellence. We recommend it to those looking for a light-hearted adventure with a touch of challenge.

"Mario Party Jamboree is still a must-have for anyone who wants to liven up game nights with family or friends online. The new modes are a blast and cleverly tap into the console’s features, but their limited variety means they start to feel repetitive over time. On the technical side, the game finally boasts visuals that do justice to the hardware, though unfortunately that polish doesn’t carry over to the core content.

Dead Take is a short yet strikingly original experiment, weaving a disturbing story through a strong cast and inventive use of the medium, where atmosphere and writing outshine its technical flaws.

PATAPON 1+2 Replay establishes itself as an excellent return, capable of winning the hearts of gamers thanks to a skilful balance between modernity and respect for the original work, making the experience accessible and enjoyable for anyone who wants to approach it. Despite the sometimes challenging grinding and rather basic narrative, the development team's work in preserving the artistic identity and improving the technical and gameplay aspects is evident and appreciable. If you are ready to beat the pace and lead the Patapon to Fineterra, this is undoubtedly the perfect opportunity to do so.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition marks a welcome return for one of the most ambitious and talked-about CRPGs of the 2000s. While it still struggles to shake off some of the original game’s limitations — including problematic camera controls, clunky animations, and a less-than-ideal interface — the work done by Aspyr Media is nonetheless commendable. The remaster delivers improved stability, compatibility with modern systems, a generally smoother experience, and, most importantly, a clear respect for the modding community — a key element behind the enduring love many have for NWN2.

''Back to the Dawn'' is a deep and surprising prison RPG that blends mature storytelling, social simulation, and strategy. Beneath its pixel-art graphics lies a tough, never-relaxing experience where every choice truly matters. The story is the beating heart of the game: two campaigns (one still on the way), eight endings, and complex moral choices make each playthrough unique. The gameplay rewards planning, focus, and precision, with solid RPG mechanics and a coherent, living world. The combat system is minimal but functional, reflecting its secondary role. Perhaps the only real flaw in an otherwise memorable experience is the difficulty, which can be intimidating and frustrating. It's not a game for everyone, but those seeking challenge and narrative depth will find it genuinely worthwhile.

Completely Stretchy presents itself as an interesting attempt to offer a purely demented gaming experience, a refuge from the complexity we often seek in increasingly difficult titles. Its artwork and surreal aesthetics manage to hit the mark, drawing a crazy world that all in all attracts. The idea behind the gameplay, with elastic arms as its fulcrum, is undoubtedly intriguing, capable of providing flashes of genuine, light-hearted fun at times. However, the potential of this experiment is unfortunately stifled by significant technical and gameplay issues. Precarious optimisation and often imprecise controls turn originality into frustration, making it difficult to fully appreciate the rare moments when the mechanics work in harmony.

ANTRO proves to be a work of great value and ambition from the Catalan studio. A title that in its duration manages to communicate a powerful message: to transform music from a simple accompaniment to the beating heart of gameplay and narrative. Despite the evident passion of the developers, the title sometimes sins on the precision of the controls, which risks undermining the rhythmic flow. ANTRO remains an experience worth trying for those looking for a narrative adventure capable of leaving something behind, where art always finds a way of making itself felt.

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is a re-release that could have limited itself to offering technical and QoL improvements and would have done a far better job, but unfortunately it overreaches with around 25 minutes of new content. It quickly becomes evident that these additions can’t match the brilliance of the original, and in some cases even undermine key moments, particularly for newcomers experiencing the game for the first time.
