Cotton Reboot! comes to the West with a remake of the Sharp X68000 version -the best version of the first installment, superior to the original Arcade- where in addition to the beautiful audiovisual section, it modernizes the gameplay. But it also includes the original version of Sharp's computer, so the experience is complete. A Time Attack mode and online rankings complete this ideal work for fans of Cotton and shoot 'em up.

Astalon: Tears of the Earth is an 8-bit aesthetic metroidvania that knows how to give the genre a twist with certain roguelite mechanics and an interesting plot. If we also add a very well measured gameplay and a brilliant mapping design, we will have the perfect formula to spend hours and hours glued to the console. Highly recommended.

Sky: Children of the Light comes to Nintendo Switch 2 years after its release for iOS and the wait has been worth it. It is undeniable that Thatgamecompany have experience in this type of game and have managed to collect the best of Journey and translate it into Sky, with the difference that they have chosen a Free to Play model that seems to be working very well. Anyway, do not think that their business model is a handicap, because the adventure can be enjoyed from start to finish totally free, and it is one of the most beautiful experiences in the system.

Pulse of the Ancients is the first downloadable content to come to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity as part of its expansion pass. We will find interesting additions such as the Royal Ancestral Technology Laboratory that will allow us to carry out missions to improve our skills, get two new weapons - interlocking claws and a Hylian motorcycle - and get a new playable character, the Battle Guardian. EX missions - of greater difficulty - and a new apocalypse mode complete the new content that this DLC adds, which will extend the duration of the original title by several hours, but perhaps a single playable character knows little.

Legend of Mana finally reaches our territory in an excellent remastering where the already outstanding audiovisual section of the original work has been enhanced. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the fourth installment of the Manna Saga in current systems, although it must be taken into account that the development of the adventure is peculiar and quite diffuse, which can be a handicap for some users.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is an application or hub that gives access to up to 32 Arcade games -30 of them marketed in 3 packs of 10 games each- that cover the 80s and 90s of the Japanese company. A very good presentation and a wide range of options that is only marred by major absences of several of the company's classics and by a business model based on game packs that could have followed a more traditional model. In any case, arcade game lovers will appreciate it.

R-Type returns after 18 years with a new main installment that knows how to recover the spirit and essence of the franchise but that does not look all it should with certain questionable artistic design decisions and some performance problems depending on which platforms. If you are a fan of the R-Type franchise or shoot 'em ups in general, Final 2 is an essential with dozens of hours ahead.

Sea of Solitude: The Director's Cut comes to Nintendo Switch with an improved version compared to the original of 2019. An adventure where we will accompany Kay through the confrontation of her problems. Very real problems of everyday life such as loneliness, rejection, disappointments, frustration, school abuse, depression, obsessions, or toxic relationships. Very hard issues - and surely some close ones - that we will have to face with Kay throughout her journey. A work of author that without being perfect, everyone should try.

STAR WARS Republic Commando is a shooter with tactical touches that comes to current systems 16 years after its original release. Although with a slightly outdated gameplay, it maintains its benefits and presents us with the history of the elite clone squad Delta and some of its most difficult missions. It was a remarkable game in its day and it keeps its strengths still intact. Every fan of the George Lucas universe should give it a try.

NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol. 1 is the compilation that includes 10 games from the extinct SNK portable system that was on the market in the late 90's. The selection includes some of the best titles in the system, which is remembered for its conversions of Neo Geo's star franchises. For the rest, a highly recommended compilation for those who were lucky enough to enjoy this laptop, or for all those who could not enjoy it, and are curious about the interesting but unsuccessful Neo Geo Pocket Color.

Blizzard Arcade Collection is a compilation of the first three games of the Californian studio. In terms of options and extras, this is a very complete and interesting compilation, the possible drawback is given by the small number of titles included. In spite of this, the multiple versions of these three titles, including the definitive versions, are to be appreciated, and any Blizzard fan or any user who is curious about their beginnings will not be disappointed.

Ghosts' n Goblins Resurrection is the reimagining of the classics Ghosts' n Goblins and Ghouls' n Ghosts. It comes to us after 15 years without enjoying the adventures of Sir Arthur and it does so in the best possible way, with a classic adventure of devilish difficulty that includes enough news to satisfy both connoisseurs of the original titles and users that they approach him for the first time. So it is a pleasure that Capcom recovers its classic sagas.

SNK vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium was the perfect example of how to make a competent and very complete fighting game with the power and control limitations that SNK's laptop had. With its relaunch on Switch it is the perfect opportunity to test this great crossover between the two queen companies of the fighting arcades of the 90s.

Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story is a Clock Tower-style 2D horror adventure. Without great fanfare, we are presented with a correct game in a controversial package -cyberpunk, sexualization- that seems to capture the attention of the public more than that of the playable core of the title. If you like this type of 2D horror games, and you are curious about how Cantonese folklore has been used in this regard, you can give it a try, but if you are looking for a cyberpunk adventure, this is not your game.

COLLECTION of SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND gives us the first three deliveries of the little-known SaGa franchise published on Game Boy between 89 and 91. Using the name of Final Fantasy Legend in the U.S. market as a hook, they achieved relative success despite having little or nothing to do with the star franchise of Square. With some very peculiar mechanics and a high difficulty, they are not JRPGs for beginners, and they can be made hard for the current player, but those who know and follow the franchise will find an unbeatable way to know or remember their beginnings with this compilation. The options are correct, but there are a few more extras missing.

Fatal Fury: First Contact adapts Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers quite acceptably, although with certain cuts that end up taking their toll on SNK's game. We lose the fight on a different plane, the gameplay is simplified, and the game loses speed and frenzy, which together with its null content beyond VS mode, make this Fatal Fury a somewhat weak delivery compared to other of the juices of Neo Geo Pocket appeared on Nintendo Switch. Even so, it is worth taking a look knowing its shortcomings, after all it is the only Fatal Fury that the system had.

Haven is a beautiful love story that develops with the participation of the player, and is complemented by mechanics from various games such as a personal relationship simulator, an exploration adventure, a role-playing game, and even a walking simulator. Not all the mechanics play their part at the same level, and we will even notice that the game could have saved some of them, such as the fighting, but what really stands out is the development of the relationship of our protagonists, and the environment created for them Origin, is ideal for this love story to happen and convince.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a game that masterfully combines the management of a farm and the cultivation of rice, with 2D areas with hack'n slash mechanics where we will fight with dozens of demons while obtaining resources for the farm. An endearing story awaits us with very well written characters and a fairly interesting representation of Japanese rural culture and its associated mythology. With this cover letter you have to give it a go.

Wonder Blade is to Castle Crashers what Fighter's History is to Street Fighter, a highly "inspired" game. Beyond the moral issue of this situation, Wonder Blade offers us a brawler with RPG elements and some levels with different mechanics that bring variety to the whole. A punk game, as the title from which it is "inspired", that beyond some mismatches in the difficulty, and the poor presentation of the current versions, offers a quite safisfactory experience, especially if we have not played Castle Crashers.
