Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection includes the 10 main Game Boy Advance installments of the Battle Network subsaga divided into two volumes. We are facing a notable compilation, with interesting additions and news, in addition to all the content of the Japanese editions that did not arrive in their day. The gameplay undergoes a radical change going from action games and platforms to strategic RPGs, so perhaps the fan of the classic Mega Man will be lost with the proposal, although if we get hold of the formula, we have hours of fun ahead.

Curse of the Sea Rats, called ratoidvania by its creator, is a pretty standard metroidvania. It stands out for its exquisitely animated and hand-drawn character design, and for offering four-player co-op, something not very typical for the subgenre. Despite its interesting premise, its execution has not been perfect. There are many small details that the user can decide to ignore and enjoy the adventure or they can spoil the experience a bit. Even so, the game is fun and engaging, so we can only recommend it.

LUNARK is a tribute to classics like Prince of Persia and Flashback that will delight fans of these games and the cinematic platform subgenre. But he is not satisfied with just paying homage to the heavyweights he refers to, but at the same time tries to differentiate himself with his own personality and approach, and he succeeds. It's fair to say that maybe LUNARK isn't a game for everyone due to its demands and sub-genre characteristics, but given the chance, we're going to love it.

ONI : Road to be the Mightiest Oni is a different adventure and it feels that way. Quite brave and original decisions have been made that have created a unique adventure, although this can also be its biggest problem, since its structure based on fairly similar tests can end up being a bit repetitive. Even so, ONI: Path to be the Oni is a remarkable game, a beautiful story told from another point of view.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA comes to PlayStation 5 and its users will be able to enjoy Adol's adventure on the island of Seiren in one of the best installments of the veteran Nihon Falcom franchise. A remarkable adventure awaits us that visually shows the passage of time -the original game is from 2016 for PlayStation Vita- but that keeps its fun gameplay fresh.

Yomawari: Lost in the Dark is a third installment totally continuous with respect to its two previous installments. This can be a handicap given the few novelties that we are going to find in its proposal and gameplay, but on the other hand it guarantees the most notable of the other two games, the tension and terror achieved with situations that will leave us very bad, not counting the feeling of helplessness and vulnerability that we will have at all times. Any fan of survival horror and horror games should play this remarkable trilogy.

Atomic Heart is the new open-world first-person shooter with RPG elements developed by Russian studio Mundfish and published by Focus Entertainment. From the beginning we will be captivated by its powerful setting and we will enjoy the powerful visual display that this dystopian Soviet Union of the 50s presents us with. It is impossible for Bioshock not to come to mind -and that can only be good- although at the time After playing it, many mechanics will also remind us of the last Far Cry. It's not quite round due to certain design decisions, and because of the wasted open world, but the game is fun and also a challenge, so we can only recommend it without any doubt.

Mortal Shell: Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch is a very worthy version of the success of the Cold Symmetry studio. We find ourselves with a soulslike adventure that does not hide its influences with respect to Dark Souls but knows how to print its own personality. This unexpected edition for the Nintendo console is more than welcome in a catalog that does not have as many representatives of this type of game as other systems.

River City Girls 2 takes the base of its first installment and expands it with new areas and other redesigned areas, new skills and more refined combat techniques, new playable characters, more missions, a longer duration and the best, online cooperative mode. But it also reuses entire mapping areas, enemies, resources, movements, themes from the soundtrack... River City Girls 2 is a very continuous sequel, although this is not necessarily a bad thing, if you repeat something notable, success is assured.

Nintendo Switch users are in luck with the release of Incryption. Danield Mullins' game is quite an experience that will really surprise us and blow our minds, with very unexpected twists and a concept of a metagame or game within a game taken to an unexpected limit for any player. As a card game it also complies, but we say from now on that this playable part is just one more part of the intricate narrative born from the mind of a madman or a genius.

Goat Simulator 3 is just as thug a game as the first, even more so. Bigger, crazier, more chances to unleash chaos, and incidentally a critique of the studio to the so hackneyed open worlds, so fashionable these days. We will be able to follow a fun plot while we unleash chaos for the great mapping and enjoy all the crazy things that are proposed to us. The multiplayer mode for up to 4 players is the great addition of this installment and it will multiply the fun for us. Finally, the Estocomo studio has to get its act together to improve performance and other bugs that somewhat tarnish the return of the horniest goats in the world.

Sifu was one of the surprises of the year and now it makes its way to Nintendo Switch in a more than correct version. We have the usual sacrifices in visual quality and performance in exchange for being able to play this demanding beat'em up anywhere. With its interesting playable mechanics and its staging, Sifu has earned the good reviews it has garnered and has become an experience that all beat'em up lovers should enjoy.

NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol.2 comes as a surprise just like its previous volume and offers us another 10 titles from SNK's ill-fated portable system. They highlight SNK VS. CAPCOM CARD FIGHTERS CLASH and MEGA MAN BATTLE & FIGHTERS but overall these 10 titles cover another important part of SNK's 16-bit laptop catalogue, and perfectly complement Vol.1. We hope that one day we will have a Vol.3 with the blue hedgehog as the protagonist.

HARVESTELLA is Square Enix's first contact with the niche market that forms the atypical fusion of RPG with farm simulator and the room for improvement is evident. But we must admit that the title of Live Wire has its charm and we liked it. Let's hope that Square Enix wants to continue exploring the possibilities of the synergy of these two genres.

With Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia, the XXL subsaga returns with a fourth installment that is very continuous with respect to the third installment. The great attraction of this fourth part is the multiplayer of up to four players, which is how you can get the most out of the title. It's not a bad game but we all thought that Slap them All! it was the way to go.

Gotham Knights, despite initial skepticism from the Batman fandom and the Arkham franchise, is by no means a bad game. It is true that we expected another bat adventure before the bat family, much less charismatic but at least with the change in concept we have received a funniest cooperative multiplayer. For the rest, we will find an action and role sandbox in an impressive but intergenerational Gotham. We will enjoy quite a lot with the main plot and the villain missions, and not so much with the premeditated crimes that will end up going through us.
