Super Magbot is a highlight in the puzzle platformer genre. It sports unique gameplay that I haven't seen anywhere else, and it's definitely the most fun I've had with magnets in years. The rest of the package isn't as groundbreaking as the gameplay, but it's still totally solid. Some bland writing and so-so music aside, this is a killer addition to any sidescrolling platforming fans collection.

Super Magbot is a fun, yet at times, frustrating game. Fine-tuning your brain to think differently is difficult and even up to the final boss, the core mechanic never felt natural. However, the sense of satisfaction when completing a tough stage is priceless. For gamers looking for a challenging, unique take on the platforming genre, then Super Magbot is definitely worth checking out.

Super Magbot's fun factor almost entirely relies on if you enjoy replaying levels over and over again until you finally master them.

With as many puzzle platformers as I’ve seen on the Switch it’s always cool to run across one that does things a bit differently, and there’s no doubt that Super Magbot manages that...

Super Magbot is a precision platformer with one simple caveat. The main character cannot jump. Instead, he leverages the power of magnetism. Does this simple concept keep me attached the whole way through? Or was I repulsed? Find out in this Rapid Review.

Start to finish, Super Magboy is a ton of fun, and for anyone who didn’t quite like the disappointing gameplay proposal of Super Meat Boy Forever, this is much closer to the style you may be looking for. Filled with a ton of levels, and a pretty fair learning curve, Super Magboy is a perfect pick-up-and-play experience.

If you like your challenging platformers Super Magbot comes highly recommended. A unique magnetic hook that stands out from the crowd with a memorable score to boot. Not for the players looking for a relaxing experience so in a fitting way there are aspects that will repel people away but for the most part, there are reasons to be attracted to Super Magbot.

A precision platformer with a novel, magnetically charged traversal method, Super Magbot is a quality game. The storyline is a little lacklustre but challenging yet satisfying game design makes for a very moreish experience.

Super Magbot offers us a game of platforms, skill and speed in which the mechanics of jumping are replaced by magnetic forces. It has a good variety of levels and content, but a difficulty and learning curve difficult to master. A simple and enjoyable game but that requires some dedication.
