Space Run Reviews
Space Run is a fairly fun twist on tower defense, but it lacks much of the genre's interesting experimentation.
Space Run is an exciting tower defense game in which you rocket through the galaxy at warp speed.
A fun, interesting, and altogether engaging take on tower defense, Space Run is a sleeper hit.
Space Run has proved that the tower-defense genre can be molded into one of the more enjoyable narratives of the year, as well as keeping the gameplay fresh from start to finish. The dialogue between missions are chock full of sci-fi references and are fully voiced.
"When you need it there yesterday," reads Buck Mann's catchphrase in reference to his delivery ethos. As far as Space Run: Fast and Safe Delivery as a game is concerned, part of me wonders if yesterday is really where this adventure belongs.
This is a game worthy of your time for anyone who is tired of the genre or just wants to play something a bit different.
So, do I think Space Run is worth your time and money? If you want a fun, engaging tower defense game with a good story, and above average voice acting, then yes, I think it's worth the paltry 15 USD pricetag. It has some problems, but they don't keep it from being a solid title.
Space Run really is a thoroughly enjoyable game with rewarding level completion, just the right amount of humour and enough variety in missions to keep you going until men land on Mars.
