NBA 2K23 Reviews
NBA2K23 came with some interesting changes by bring back old memories. Jordan's legendary career and the year-based dynasty mode are both very attractive new features. NBA 2K23 is still the best basketball game in the world, even though it's still similar to NBA2K22. I'm glad to see that the NBA 2K series have made some innovations and changes, but there is still a lot of room for further improvements.

Still, VC issues aside, which aren’t anything new, NBA 2K23 is undoubtedly the best entry in the series for some years. Jordan Challenge is a great addition that can eat up many hours of your time, while MyCareer is more engrossing than ever thanks to its entertaining story. But ultimately, it’s the gameplay changes that make NBA 2K23 worth picking up. Playing basketball from the comfort of your couch has never looked or felt so good.
NBA 2K23 delivers a somewhat complete package that starts to feel more like an expansion rather than a major upgrade the further you get into the season.
If you have the patience to wait for a discount, what you'll find here is a great NBA game, with some cool modes that transport you to the past of the organization, with chief among them a meaty tribute to Michael Jordan.
If you like the NBA, if you are fond of basketball games, there are no alternatives, you will definitely play this game. But beyond being the only alternative to play, it also offers good reasons such as the Jordan Challenge and NBA Eras. It definitely deserves a chance.

NBA 2K23 is the latest official title in the world-renowned, best-selling NBA 2K series. Players create their own legacy on the blacktop and compete across new, revamped, and returning modes.
When we throw all the listed elements into a pot and mix them, we get an excellent playable basketball, which is great to watch and you will enjoy every single virtual game. But we already feel the stagnation in the series and the technical shortcomings do not help either.

I would recommend NBA 2K23 for its sheer breadth of material and the fact that it really tries to be a basketball universe unto itself (hence the massive file size). It's certainly not perfect, as I still keep running into odd glitches now and then, and even some strange things that carry over from the last game (Do I really have to keep walking through the Dallas Mavericks shootaround to get to my guys? Why is that still a thing?), but it is and shall likely always be the sports game I play almost every day, no matter what time of year it actually is - even when the fans tell me I stink.
An abundance of various modes and improvements to the on-court action, NBA 2K23 is an astonishing amount of fun for any basketball fan. Even the microtransactions in some modes weren't enough to dampen the pure fun that the rest of the game had to offer.
If you’re a casual NBA player, there’s absolutely no doubt you’ll find this year’s release a little bit overwhelming. There’s a lot that you need to discover, starting with the playing modes and ending with the gameplayer itself. NBA 2K23 comes with a huge learning curve for new players, but at the end of the day, this is only a good thing in the long term anyway.
Despite his flaws, NBA 2K23 leaves the franchise in a better position than it was in recent years. Microtransactions continue to devour uncontrollably online modes, however, traditional modes are still there with gameplay better than ever. In the end, this year's edition can satisfy all types of players and although controversial, NBA 2K23 is a positive experience.

NBA 2K23 represents one of the biggest steps forward for the franchise in recent years. The abundance of modes will keep players entertained throughout the NBA season, and the on-court gameplay continues to be improved. It's just a shame that microtransactions continue to be as woven within the fabric of the game as they are.
NBA 2K23 accurately captures great highlights of basketball history with the Jordan Challenge mode and an immersive career mode. However, it has some performance issues with the A.I and uneven PvP modes

Developing a new title in the sports genre every year and improving at the same time is a real challenge for any company, but Visual Concepts managed to create a true 9th generation experience with NBA 2K23, offering solid visuals, stunning animations and tons of content while staying loyal to simulation gameplay. It is safe to say that the king is back.

While the action on the court is still fantastic and the new game modes are very entertaining and play with basketball fans' nostalgia, NBA 2K23 is brought down by its excessive microtransactions, which are the very definition of "pay-to-win".

NBA 2K23 is the best game in the series when it comes to attention for details, gameplay, presentation and game modes, and it will be admired by any basketball fan. However, microtransactions are still a problem that cannot be ignored.

Predictably, NBA 2K23 is the best NBA video game to date. While it sounds like a misnomer, and a little bit of an exaggeration, there is simply no other way to put it. Fans of the franchise will find the most fun and the best quality of life updates in this version, while fans who have held out for a few years might find a refreshingly updated experience awaiting them. The game is by no means breaking any new grounds, and it will take Visual Concepts a heck of a lot more effort to make the game feel like it stands above all the others, but it is one of the standout experiences in terms of annual sports titles in 2022.
Witnessing such an exceptional level of content in an annual sports game is truly remarkable. It must be acknowledged that 2K has adequately validated the $70 price of their game. Although there are a few minor issues that prevent it from receiving a perfect score, the mere fact that an annual sports game has been able to achieve such an exemplary standard is an extraordinary accomplishment.

If you’re willing to bypass the constant nagging from ads to buy currency, you will find a great selection of modes with depth and hours of enjoyment. But it is hard to ignore the glaring and bleak future the microtransactions paint for the future of the series.
