It's very rare in today's gaming scene that we get a chance to play a game more than once through. This gives you the chance to play one of the best games ever made, again. A chance to experience fantastic gameplay, hilarious and intelligent social commentary and a fantastic story full of characters with vibrant personalities that fit perfectly into a fascinating world. This is an opportunity you should take with both hands. This is the definitive version of a masterpiece.

Grand Theft Auto V showcases the masterpiece of an open world action adventure title that Watch_Dogs and other open world games have failed to deliver. The mind-blowing graphics, alluring gameplay experience, and the perfect online mode makes Grand Theft Auto V a deserving game to be awarded with Game of the Year title of 2015!

The Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online are good, this isn't a bad game, it's just not as impressive as one may hope. It has some flashy new graphical effects, a menu redesign, and the 60FPS mode is remarkable, but it's all marginal. For newcomers with little to no experience with the game, this is going to be an absolute treat. For veterans, this may ring a bit hollow. It's worth picking up if you want to keep up with GTA Online and have the best possible version, but otherwise, there are no enhancements that demand you replay the story once more.

Grand Theft Auto V Expanded & Enhanced Edition has plenty of visual additions to make players who have played it again have a much better experience.

Ultimate it's going to come down to how much you love the Grand Theft Auto franchise, as Rockstar's next-gen upgrade is purely aesthetic and performance-based. Just like it was in 2013, it's Grand Theft Auto 5.

With the next-gen version Rockstar has brought us the ultimate version of Grand Theft Auto 5. The graphics have been improved a lot, the loading times are much faster and the PS5-version even has a couple of features for the DualSense controller. The question, however, is whether you want to replay the same adventure again, as there is no new content, nor any improvements or additions to the gameplay. A version purely made for newcomers or true fans of GTA 5.

Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 5 is almost as big of a leap as we saw from the PS3 to the PS4. The loading times are rapid, the visual quality is blindingly beautiful, its smooth as silk and many of the game’s mechanics still hold up very well. Some things definitely have not aged as well, though, and it is a game, you feel, which is beginning to run on fumes.

‎Still, GTA 5 for the PC is without a doubt the ultimate version. The game looks spectacular and this time you're driving around with that song on the radio that you can listen to 30 times in a row. The controls with mouse and keyboard make it tricky for you at times, but you can set everything up to your liking or play with a controller. The only downside is in GTA Online where you sometimes come across bugs and glitches that were there on the consoles as well. Despite this, it's now time to play for hundreds of hours again and GTA 5 is hugely addictive!‎

‎It remains to be seen how smooth gta online's launch is, but other than that, Rockstar has made a better version of Grand Theft Auto V in pretty much all areas, and that's still better than almost all the other games on the market now in 2014.‎

For those of you who used to play on PS3 or Xbox 360 like me, and for those who tried it in the next generation, GTA V PC doesn't offer much different content except its graphics. The game is the same. Still, after a long wait, you can say, "But it was worth it!"

GTA V is one of the best games ever made, and in the new generation, the situation does not change in any way.

I said in my original review that Rockstar dropped the mic on the previous generation with the release of GTAV. If that's the case, this feels like a remastering of a classic album. The fact that this isn't known as "GTAV: Definitive Edition" speaks volumes to the attitude Rockstar have taken with this release. It's GTAV, and it's on the new systems. There is an absolute treasure trove of content to dive headfirst into, and with its fresh coat of paint, GTAV on PS4 is one of the best looking open worlds that there has ever been on a console. I fully expect the PC version to be modded to the moon and back when it's released in January, but for now, this version of Los Santos will remain the pinnacle. If you've yet to play Grand Theft Auto V and own a new system, there is absolutely no excuse for not picking up this release. If you're thinking about double-dipping, then it's a slightly more difficult proposition, but I would recommend it. Admittedly that's because I was looking forward to taking my time with the game rather than mainlining the story campaign in a few days like I did with the review last year. There are still parts that I've yet to touch on the last generation, so with everything to do all over again plus all of that? It's one of the best value propositions on the market right now. Hopping on a scooter and riding down to Vespucci beach during the sunset never felt quite so good.

GTAV is a masterpiece, successfully reproducing the awe that we felt when GTAIII first hit the streets while also surpassing GTA: San Andraes in both volume quality of content. Content concerns are without number, though gamers should expect nothing less from a franchise named after a felony.

Rockstar Games revisits last year's heist-filled romp with a new version on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. With the new power, the developer has added more depth and life to the world of Los Santos. It's the same game, but the new visual effects and first-person mode provides a strong experience. It's not completely worth a double-dip if you tore through the original GTA V, but it's definitely worth a second look.

Grand Theft Auto V doesn't correct every mistake or misstep it made from its previous outing. There are still only three main protagonists in the game, all of which are male. The writing is still a bit hit or miss. Aiming and shooting while driving is still an exercise in frustration. However, the good aspects of the game far outweigh the bad. First-person mode is a tremendous addition to the game. The increased resolution and stable framerate are fantastic when compared to the old gen. The minimal pop in of objects is leaps ahead of the often-horrendous pop in of objects that often happened right in front of your face on the old gen. Grand Theft Auto V on the PlayStation 4 isn't perfect but it has certainly rekindled my love of the game.
