Ready, Steady, Ship! Reviews
Ready, Steady, Ship! is a fantastic spin on the chaotic cooperative game formula, and gives players a variety of tools and a sometimes head scratching puzzle to use them on. Despite some frustrations, it's definitely worth checking out.
Overall, Ready, Steady, Ship! is a solid game. The controls were unfriendly at times, but the music was fun to listen to, and the level design was well done.
Though I wish you could jump in and out of either campaign, and I think it ramps up the difficulty rather quickly, Ready, Steady, Ship! is a perfectly adorable co-op title with a ton of content to keep you satisfied.
Ready, Steady, Ship! is an okay game at first but can get a little boring after a while and is very annoying at times.
Ready, Steady, Ship! It's a good release for the puzzle and local co-op genres. For those who appreciate a good challenge and have the patience to deal with not very robust controls and a bit of frustration, the game can offer a rewarding and fun experience at the end of its long scenarios.

My gaming chum and I absolutely adore Ready, Steady, Ship! and we can't wait for even more factory fun so bring on the DLC and sequel, please. It's a genuinely unique co-op experience that's packed with variety; every genre enthusiast simply needs to play it. 📦
This is one tough cookie to crack. Yet, it is this challenging nature that makes it so rewarding. Additionally, the varied gameplay and drip-fed mechanics keep you on your toes. Undoubtedly, this is a better experience with a friend, but I also enjoyed it solo. Consequently, this is a wonderful title and I recommend buying it here! Running a factory is never easy. As such, plan ahead, grab a friend and get to work.
Finding the right balance between responsiveness and user-friendly controls is essential and it’s crucial for games like Ready, Steady, Ship! to have this this balanced effectively to ensure that players can fully appreciate and enjoy the game without being hindered by overly finicky controls. I enjoyed my time playing Ready, Steady Ship! and might revisit it at some point to collect more stars but as of right now I’m putting my hard hat down and ordering some food so I don’t have to leave my house.
Even with its few faults, I would suggest grabbing it if you’re chasing a simple and fun title to play with the kids or some good friends. So, get ready, stay steady, and get shipping!
Ready, Steady, Ship offers a chaotic take on the world of shipping, with the clever level design keeping the co-op action fresh and fun. The use of conveyor belts ensures it has a unique hook when compared to similar titles, whilst the constant introduction of new mechanics ensures there’s plenty on offer to keep levels interesting as you progress. I don’t think it’s as good as the likes of Overcooked and it’s nowhere near as to fun to play solo, but Ready, Steady, Ship still manages to deliver an amusingly frantic co-op experience that won’t fail to keep you laughing.
Ready, Steady, Ship! is another example of a game that turns a real-world occupation into something silly but ultimately fun. That is provided you’re playing in co-op. Single-player is not awful, but it highlights some of the game’s niggles, such as floaty controls, wonky physics and the experience feeling more mundane. But throw a controller at another player, and much of this is overlooked since you can just sit back and have fun with the silliness on screen. Add to the star system not being tied to a time limit, and you also have an experience that’s welcoming to those who have found other co-op games a tad stressful. Need another game night for two? Then consider Ready, Steady, Ship! for your next purchase.
