Critic Reviews for Maestro

Maestro puts the hand tracking of the Meta Quest 3 to the test, and nails it. With song familiarity, unlocks galore, and a simple, yet fun and challenging interface, this is a game you don't want to pass up. Even if you're not a musician, you'll be pleased with the hand tracking by itself, and that's going to get Maestro a lot of roses. Bravo.

Ok, so how do I sum up Maestro? I think I can do it in a few simple words. Pure, Brilliant, Indulgent Fun. There, that’s it, I had so much fun playing through the different songs and getting to grips with all the hand gestures. It’s firmly in my repeat play VR games! With probably the easiest award I’ve ever had to give, Maestro receives the Thumb Culture Platinum Award.

The attention to detail, polished mechanics, and genuine joy of conducting make Maestro an essential addition to any Quest 3 library. It's the kind of game that reminds us why VR is special, offering an experience that's both accessible and profound, simple to learn but challenging to master.

Maestro is brilliant, offering an innovative and immersive conducting experience that’s unlike any other rhythm game that I’ve played. Between its diverse and familiar soundtrack, its impressive on-stage visuals, and its clever and fitting implementation of hand-tracking, it offers an exciting and rewarding experience that will certainly help you appreciate the fine art of conducting an orchestra. Whether you’re a fan of rhythm games, a lover of classical music, or simply someone looking for something fresh to enjoy in virtual reality, Maestro is a must-play. It successfully redefines the genre, turning what might have been a niche concept into an engaging and exciting experience that will leave you waving your hands for more.
