DG2: Defense Grid 2 Reviews
Standing apart from duller entries in the tower defense genre, Defense Grid 2 validates the genre with exciting gameplay and a sharp presentation that avoids the usual pratfalls of said genre. Add in surprisingly good multiplayer and you have a game that definitely lives up to its KickStarter promises.
Defense Grid 2 isn't just another tower defense game, it's the best tower defense game.
Tower defense games may have few representatives in the current scenario, but Defense Grid 2 fills this gap with praise, presenting a fun and dynamic gameplay, in addition to good challenges and a very high replayability factor. If you miss this type of game, I strongly recommend that you give this title a try.

A sequel that expanded and improved in all the right places, and avoided the temptation of fixing things that weren't broken.
Whether you're a lifelong fan of tower defense games or have no idea what "mazing" means, Defense Grid 2's smart gameplay, strong level design, and great writing make it a strong contender for any strategically-minder gamer's library.
If you're a fan of tower defense games . . . Defense Grid 2 takes everything you've grown to love about these games, and elevates it to the next level.
Probably the best tower defence game there is. Nothing more, nothing less.
Defense Grid 2 is a fairly typical Tower Defense game at its core, but the layers of complexity give it a lot more staying power and replay value than you are likely accustomed to. With 21 campaign levels, and plans to offer countless more as downloads, there is no end to how much time you can spend with DG2, and that's not even counting fighting for placement on the leaderboards... or multiplayer. DG2 is a shining example of Kickstarter done right.
Hidden Path Entertainment's strategy game is polished, sophisticated, incredibly deep, and tons of fun
Defense Grid 2 pushes what you can do to a tower defense game as far as possible and still have the game remain a tower defense game.
Defense Grid 2 is a very solid tower defense game. While there are only twenty one missions, there are multiple ways to play each one as well as multiple difficulties to keep things fresh. If you're into the genre, this one is worth picking up. Even if you've never played a tower defense game before or are looking to get into the genre, this is a good one to start out on.
It's the sustained snacking aspect of Defense Grid 2's many modes and weapon options, rather than the intended banquet that is its campaign, that'll keep your belly full.
While it doesn't reinvigorate the tower defense world quite like Defense Grid: The Awakening did, the tweaks it does offer are interesting enough to pull in
