HellSlave II: Judgment of the Archon, from developer Ars Goetia, is a fun turn-based RPG with a strong narrative, solid world-building, a deep backend system, and plenty of adventures throughout. It’s fun, impressive, and a lot more than I expected.
Solo developer Ars Goetia has released a sequel to the dark fantasy RPG, featuring combat in the style of classic dungeon crawlers but with practical improvements. The game will be appreciated not only by fans of the original title but also by new players.

For a game made by a solo developer, HellSlave II: Judgment of the Archon is impressive and outright inspiring. Small problems persist, but overall the game features incredible art, a strong narrative and setting, and turn-based RPG combat that is not only incredibly fun, but also has more exciting to use and uniquely designed abilities than you’d find in a lot of games in the genre.
