Critic Reviews for Mad Games Tycoon
If you are into these management-style games, Mad Games Tycoon does have something to offer. Just be prepared to put in the legwork early on.
In the end, Mad Games Tycoon is an entertaining, challenging game that will put your resource management skills to the test. Even with a lack of any real tutorial and some bad animations this was still a game worth picking up.
Despite the subpar graphics and lack of character customization, Mad Games Tycoon creates an addicting gameplay loop that fans of the simulation genre will love. Just be mindful of which platform you are buying the game on and at what price… because the game is cheaper elsewhere. That being said, if you enjoy simulation video games and can only get it on Nintendo Switch, it is still worth the asking price.
So, in conclusion the game is solid, fun, and easy to use. If you enjoy older games than i recommend this game highly. If you enjoy a game with incredible graphics, and a story-line than this is not for you.
Mad Games Tycoon is a noble attempt to do something really cool. As someone who loves tycoon simulators, and loves video games, the dream is very much there to have something more serious and deep to replace Game Dev Tycoon. Unfortunately Mad Games Tycoon also struggles to give you a genuine sense of ownership over what you're doing. A very pedestrian presentation, and a sense that you're being pushed to play in a specific way is very antithetical to how the overwhelming bulk of the real world games industry works.
A pretty humble stab at a game development sim with some charm but not much to differentiate in its space
Mad Games Tycoon is a decent simulation game with plenty of potential, but with the lack of any sort of descriptions explaining basic features of the game it is hard to recommend to any casual player. The game requires lots of trial and error or searching the internet for possible guides.
I’m sure there is a niche market for a game like this. But for me, a game about controlling a company that makes games doesn’t appeal overly.
