Fast RMX Reviews

Fast RMX is ranked in the 79th percentile of games scored on OpenCritic.

Fast RMX isn’t quite the new Wipeout or F-Zero game that I so desperately want, however it is a damn good futuristic racing game and a bargain at $20. Its budget status shows up in a few places, such as the subdued music, barebones online, or lack of a notable difference between the difficulty modes. However, Fast RMX is exhilarating at top speed and rewards track mastery while minimizing annoying RNG elements. The three race tournaments make it perfect for short play sessions and it will help tide me over until a new Wipeout of F-Zero.

Fast RMX definitely deserves attention, even if you played Neo for WiiU. The game supports all versions of configurations and controllers with the ability to reconfigure the controls. It looks insanely beautiful in both TV and portable mode, occupy only 835 MB on hard disk and have super fast loading screens, which is very convenient for short trips. If you are looking for a dynamic and very spectacular racing game, Fast RMX is the right purchase.

FAST RMX is a game that you have to get if you like your futuristic racers, and even if you don't. While sometimes in the single player it feels like the AI is completely stacked against you, it's a fun game - especially with friends. If Nintendo doesn't bring F-Zero back but Shin'en continue with this series and keep quality at this level, I'd be very content.

Fast RMX isn’t the best looking arcade racer on the market, and it lacks the polish that other games bring to the equation. However its tight gameplay and impressive tech (for Nintendo Switch) elevates Fast RMX to something better than its individual parts. For those searching for recommendations, Fast RMX easily offers $20 worth of racing entertainment as you wait for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and is an easy buy to any fan of the genre.

This game is a must-play for sci-fi racing fans who own a Switch, especially if you dream about the day a new F-Zero game comes out. It's not exactly the same, but evokes a strong classic feeling with a few new twists that make it both fresh and familiar.

Good tracks and great racing combine in this well-positioned futuristic racer. It's nothing groundbreaking, and is very similar to its predecessor, but it has enough new content and multiplayer fun to keep me coming back for hours.

If there was any real complaint about Fast RMX, it’s that it’s missing the modern novelty of RPG progression in its racers. I’d love to upgrade them, tweak them to my liking, and customize them in general. Otherwise, this is a really stellar racer for a mere $20, and one of the best games on the Switch right now. There’s even a great 8-player online component, split screen vs mode too. Highly recommended.

If you’re after a racer to play on the Nintendo Switch that won’t break the bank, that feels a bit different, then give Fast RMX a shot. It’s a lot of fun and has a lovely style, which is matched by its gameplay.

Fast RMX may crib from other titles, but it's beautiful, competitive, and as the name suggests, fast. It should be the other Switch game you own.

I find myself extremely impressed by RMX. It takes everything about Neo and improves upon it, while also adding in new features and tweaks that make it suitable for both play at home and on the go. As a launch title, RMX boasts a level of thoughtfulness and polish that isn't often seen until well into a console's life cycle.

As a showcase for the Nintendo Switch Hardware, Fast RMX is a gorgeous visual showcase and adapts as easily as the Switch itself to however you and some friends might want to play it, at least as what you want involves straight racing. Never the less, the solid physics behind the racing and the great polarity mechanic make Fast RMX a pulse pounding time.

It isn’t F-Zero, but there’s a good, fun challenge here for anyone with an anti-grav racing itch.

Anyone who enjoys racing games and owns a Switch does not have many options for games right now beyond FAST RMX. Fortunately, it should provide players with at least a dozen hours of gameplay as they work their way from the novice cups to more advanced races.

Fast RMX is... well, fast! With more tracks and ships and local multiplayer with up to 4 players at 60fps is a good choice for your brand new Nintendo Switch.

FAST Racing RMX feels like a modernised F-Zero in every regard. Its gameplay feels fluid and engaging, and the track design is arguably better than any other game of its kind.

By using the basis of F-zero, Fast RMX has managed to create a unique and exciting experience for Nintendo Switch users. The good point of the game is the 20 dollar price tag which makes it easy to ignore some of the flaws . 20 dollars for a game with 30 amazing and challenging levels, is astonishing.
