Fast RMX Reviews
Generally speaking, there is very little not to like about Fast RMX. If you dumped a lot of hours into Fast Racing or Fast Racing Neo, ok, maybe there's not enough content here for you to warrant a re-purchase, but I don't think anyone is seriously in that boat. Instead, what you have is a really compelling, slick racer that gets the core gameplay done right and does it in style. For Switch owners, consider it a priority release.
If one thing is certain, it's that the F-Zero brand would be in good hands should Nintendo ever choose to take this fruitful relationship with Shin'en Multimedia to a new level and entrust the property to them. Since there hasn't been a new title from Nintendo in so long, it seems like a logical thing to do. In the meantime, Fast RMX is an excellent arcade racer that will satisfy anyone's craving for speed and intensity, as well as gorgeous graphics that really show off the Switch's capability. As a full priced game, it would still stand out, but as a £17.99 download on the eShop, this really is a no- brainer for any fans of arcade racing. One of the best launch day games available.
The combination of visuals, audio and technical prowess makes for an incredibly sound and fun game. The lack of online options at launch is disappointing, but still doesn’t detract from the overall experience. With Fast RMX, Shin'en Multimedia has managed to deliver a triple A experience for a third of the price.
Fast RMX is one of the best Switch titles out right now. Given how Shin'en is supporting the game with free updates, with the first adding time trials, it's a great time to pick it up and play this game.
An impressively fast and well-playing arcade racer that will constantly keep you on your toes.
With the launch of the Nintendo Switch, FAST RMX debuts as a launch title, which is sort of a 'definitive' version of FAST Racing NEO with some fantastic tweaks.
While Fast RMX is the only game in town for Nintendo Switch owners, thankfully it's a fantastic experience. Breakneck speed, responsive controls, plenty of tracks to race on and a vast list of vehicles. Toss in the added challenge of the higher end leagues and hero mode and you have a game you'll play for a long time. Once Shin'en Multimedia adds in the time trial and online friend racing, Fast RMX will be the defacto racing title for the Nintendo Switch.
It may need some more polish in its modes to race with the big leagues, but Fast RMX is a great title with challenging difficulty and beautiful locales that are matched with its nose-bleeding sense of speed and arcade-inspired mechanics.
Fast RMX is an excellent arcade racer that combines gorgeous graphics that really show off the Switch's potential with adictive gameplay style. A must-have based on the quality/price ratio.

Fast RMX is now a permanent fixture on my Nintendo Switch.
Fast RMX is a must-have racing game for those looking for an F-Zero racing experience or simply any racing game on the Nintendo Switch. Local split-screen multiplayer works better than I thought it would, and there are plenty of ships and tracks to choose from. The lukewarm online integration is to be expected on a platform where Nintendo has been quiet on the precise details of the upcoming online system that is coming later this year.
Fast RMX provides a large amount of great content with a lot of variety for a very fair price. We believe the game could easily be sold for more than its MSRP of $19.99 and can recommend this game to anyone looking for a fast futuristic racing experience.
If you love arcade racers like Hydro Thunder, Star Wars Racer, and, of course, F-Zero, you’ll likely love what Fast RMX has to offer.
Fast RMX may not be the perfect anti-gravity racing package, but it certainly offers high-speed racing and a lot of tracks to challenge yourself on. It’s a shame that the online multiplayer offering is so barebones, and that the time trial mode is currently AWOL, but in lieu of an official Wipeout or F-Zero this is a solid option to get your arcade racing fix on the Nintendo Switch.
It may still be an off-brand F-Zero, but this is closer than ever to the real thing, and with some impressive graphical and multiplayer options.
With options to enable or exclude CPU racers, local multiplayer is the best of everything in Fast RMX, and at a very reasonable price. Even if you're pencilled in Mario Kart's encore as your multiplayer racing game on Switch, there's plenty of time to get in some quality time with the budget Fast RMX.
In short FAST RMX is as good as the Wii U original and then some. Updated visuals, more tracks, more vehicles, it's an utterly outstanding launch title for the Switch. With the console's ability to allow multiplayer on the go rolled in, this is without doubt essential for racing fans with the new console.
Fast RMX is practically a must buy, but it’s a purist take on the genre and damn difficult without many, if any of the bells and whistles of other racers. That said, if you’re looking to scratch a certain F-Zero or Wipeout itch on Switch it’s absolutely worth a look.
FAST rmx is an excellent racing game for the Nintendo Switch. It offers great sensations of speed and fine tuned gameplay... even if it stills suffers a lack of game modes, especially in online multiplayer.
