Call of Duty has always traditionally had strong DLC packs and Continuum fits into that solid category of content.

While Infinite Warfare probably has more than its fair share of detractors, it can't be denied that Infinity Ward has done a bang-up job with the DLC content to date, as well as fixing the majority of the issues that plagued it initially. Anybody still invested in the multiplayer component would be foolish to pass up on Continuum, as it provides an additional four maps to stalk, shoot and explode on, as well as yet another classic 'straight to VHS' Zombie extravaganza stacked with enough funk in its rotting trunk to keep the dead party bumping.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: DLC 2 - Continuum felt pale in comparison with the first add-on - Sabotage - due to the uneven level of quality of maps. And while somewhere you can see interesting ideas and pleasant realization, sometimes it is possible to observe very unfortunate things that cause only disappointment.

With four fresh maps in which to hunt down your buddies and a rollicking foray into undead ass kicking, Continuum may falter in places but it is still an easy recommend for fans. A pulse-pounding funk injection of pure adrenaline, Shaolin Shuffle in particular ticks all the right boxes for me… I always knew that the soundtrack to the Apocalypse would be Disco.

Another good DLC from Infinity Ward. Continuum takes players to brand new places, reintroducing old maps in new way and on top of that is Zombie-campaign in the '70.

Three out of the four multiplayer maps are sleek, exciting and fun, and the Shaolin Shuffle is a perfectly balanced zombies map.

I doubt Continuum will go down as one of Call of Duty's best DLC packs. But some of its settings might end up proving among the most memorable within Infinite Warfare's library of co-op levels and competitive multiplayer maps. And for a casual Call of Duty player like me, that's enough to make it worthwhile.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: Continuum is an uneven but above-average pack. It pales in comparison to Sabotage, but hasn't dragged down the season pass as a whole in any meaningful way. I'm anxious to see what the next two offerings can bring to the table, while we wait to hear more about Sledgehammer's next project.
