Accel World VS Sword Art Online Reviews
Those who have played through each iteration of Sword Art Online titles will enjoy this, although it does little new in the gameplay section, and just feels more of the same, just with a new story for Kirito and his team, along with the introduction of what is actually a fun franchise, with the inclusion of Accel World. The problem is that the core mechanics are horribly flawed, and the gameplay quickly becomes dull and repetitive. One for the hardcore fans only this time.
Accel World vs. Sword Art Online offers more of the same to those who already sunk a decent amount of time into Sword Art Online: Lost Song, but the world is thoroughly rejuvenated by Accel World's fresh blood. By providing a serviceable story as a driving force and then honing in on meaningful character interactions, Millennium Twilight becomes essential for Reki Kawahara fans.
The story is fun and is one any veteran or newbie of this series will enjoy. The multiplayer adds lots of fun to the title and adds so much more time to the game if you enjoy it. The environments are bland and boring but overall this game is worth picking up just for the story alone.
An enjoyable, engrossing adventure in two of my favourite worlds.
An intriguing story premise and refreshing fast paced combat keeps Accel World vs. Sword Art Online from becoming another dull action RPG.
All in all, Accel World vs. Sword Art Online is a decent game comprised of both good and bad elements. The combat is fun and engaging when the camera doesn't battle you, but some enemies don't seem to have any fighting spirit. On the other hand, boss battles feel epic and test your preparation and patience, and multiplayer is a nice addition that offers a chance to battle friends or strangers. Players who can get past the empty-feeling world and underachieving story will find enjoyment in this title.
This is definitely one that fans will love, but if your enthusiasm for Kawahara's work is lukewarm at best, then you may well want to look elsewhere.
This game was fun and for anyone who is a fan of both series then I do recommend to atleast take a look at this game. I have always wanted an Accel World RPG game and this made me want one even more, but hopefully without Sword Art Online in the future.
Overall, this action RPG is just up my street. Everything I want from an anime based series, familiar and charming characters, new roster of characters to engage with, old but new lands to explore and a solid combat system that is pretty simple to grasp.
Accel World vs Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight is the latest in the SAO series’ original entries. Merging both SAO and Accel World, it is up to both sets of characters to save Kirito and Asuna’s beloved Yui and both groups’ respective Online Worlds.
Reused gameplay, ridiculous audio and visual oversights, and a story that’s more bland than saltines make this one title that even fans of the anime will get little from.

Without the SAO and Accel World skins I wouldn´t see a reason to buy it, too generic, too flawed, too bland are the mechanics presented too us. Truly a game, only buyable by true fans of the series who want to play as their heroes but nothing more, nothing less, than a generic, exchangeable experience.
In short we can say that the last effort of Bandai's home is a title that has interesting features on the one hand, but on the other it does not convince us 100%. Do you want for too much woody movements, whether for neglected graphic care, or for too much repetition of secondary games, we can not say that the title is a masterpiece. Despite this there are several aspects that we appreciated, the mix of two universes is well-managed, the character jokes are well-studied and even the story is definitely not that bad. Let's say that surely it is a title that should be played for such lovers but that, according to our advice, would be worth half price!

Two anime/manga/light novel franchises come together in Accel World vs Sword Art Online in the form of an action RPG that has an interesting premise and gameplay, but is severely lackluster as a port. While AWvSAO may have a solid basis in gameplay and environment, at least on the PC it's bogged down by a lot of lag and the often-times infuriatingly stupid enemy AI.
