Dishonored: Death of the Outsider could have easily been great for value DLC, but as a stand-alone game for $30, some players may feel a little cold after the 6-7 hours of game time. There is an Original Game+ mode that adds new abilities to the characters of Dishonored 2, but if you've had your fill of reliving past glories, you'll probably get through the game in a solid nights' play.

Between this and Prey, its clear that Arkane is really refining the multiple-route, stealth or combat style to its best form.

Although it fails on the signature aspects of Dishonored series such as level design and chocies; Death of the Outsider has to be a game that series' fans want to play.

An engrossing, well-paced send-off for a series that already tops the stealth genre, Dishonored doesn't get any better than Death of the Outsider.

A thrilling story and a satisfying play time at just half price, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider.

A fitting conclusion for the series. One that might not improve much but maintains what made the series special in a smaller package.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider faced a difficult task — to tie loose ends, and bring the Kaldwin era of the franchise to an end. Unfortunately, this high-profile target slipped away from it, but this standalone expansion is a good Dishonored experience nonetheless. Although a little shorter and shallower than you might expect.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a good entry in the stealth franchise, but falls short compared to its predecessors due an uninspired level design. Nevertheless, it's a great closure for the Jessamine Kaldwin saga and the retribution story of Corvo Attano that fans of the Dishonored series will learn to love.

It's a great continuation of the series that addressed the shortcomings of the last game and took advantage of it being something supplementary to a larger experience. Simpler but more versatile powers, a more open-ended approach to seeking objectives, characters with understandable motivations and emotional stakes, and a more downplayed moral choice system lead to an experience that's easier to pick up but more rewarding the deeper you go.

Standard Dishonored gameplay remains entertaining, but from concept to execution, the writing of Dishonored: Death of the Outsider leaves much to be desired.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider may not solve the storytelling problem of the Dishonored series and its character isn't anything more that a flat character, but the fans of this franchise are already familiar with this problems and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider despite all its lacks, offers a great single player for them and those who love the great atmosphere and amazing level design, will love this game.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is another solid entry into the franchise. Despite a couple of minor issues here and there, this title is definitely worth the price of admission.

‎The Death of the Stranger is a fantastic independent expansion that immerses us again in the dark world of Dishonored focusing its attention on one of the most iconic characters in the series. A highly enjoyable game at every moment that inherits the best of the saga, its brutal gameplay and freedom of action, but from which we expected more ambition and depth in its proposal.‎

While Dishonored: Death of the Outsider's core gameplay remains as fun as ever, Arkane's methods to resolve its story are debatable.

Not the best entry in the Dishonored series but still a rather enjoyable one.

I don’t want to give away too much and spoil anyone’s fun, but rest assured that Death of the Outsider is a worthy installment in the series. It lightens up on the story consequences from your actions and allows a much more liberated approach to your gameplay in which I found myself gleefully slaughtering guards more than creeping around corners. If you feel like I didn’t touch on the story, it was intentional. The title doesn’t leave much mystery on the main goal of the game and giving away details is not my style – go discover them for yourself.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a good stand alone adventure that deepens the story of Billie Lurk. It offers roughly three-four hours of gameplay and brand new powers to experiment with.

An excellent game that delivers an above average amount of gameplay for its cost, giving you the freedom to utilize an interesting set of powers to track down and kill a god. Beautiful environments and varied objectives more than make up for changes to the Chaos mechanic from previous games in the series.
