Life is Strange: Before the Storm - Episode 2: Brave New World Reviews
It's another fantastically told tale of teenage drama, family and friendship, and developer Deck Nine has once again proved itself worthy of delivering a package that more than lives up to Dontnod's original vision.
This is an excellent episode. The bond between Chloe and Rachel grows, while the big finale awaits for us.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm has reached it's climax via the latest episode, "Brave New World". You'll encounter every single of your expectations up to now, a melodramatic story with a startling ending and a genuine friendship between the girls, "Brave New World" goes beyond your expectations and you'll definitely enjoy every single moment of it. I just wonder if we'd be allowed to make an alternative ending or not, time will answer that.

Just like any other Life is Strange episode, this one ends with a great stinger.

The only thing Life is Strange: Before the Storm Episode 2 confirms is that in the advent of the new generations, the only things that (should) matter are me, myself, and I. Do whatever feels right and screw everyone else. Such a lovely, all-inclusive and accepting message to impart to the youth. This message is most certainly not for an "old fart" like moi.
Everything from the first episode is still here; the writing, the direction, the audio-visual style, the great character development, and, of course, the feels. Unfortunately, it's not the same game, for the simple fact that it doesn't really care about pushing the story forward, which is a shame as the next chapter is actually the very last one.
Episode 2 does a great job with its storytelling and powerful emotional scenes but Before The Strom yet lacks an intriguing gameplay and unfortunately outside of Chloe-Rachel relationship, everything seems dull and shallow.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm delivers another emotionally-charged episode in its second installment, Brave New World, hitting all the right narrative beats to set up players for a grueling journey in episode three—even if it's saving many key elements that tie into the original game for the final episode.
This second episode is again stunning and emotionally capitvating, even a little slower though. Before the Storm is going to be a strong prequel to Life is Strange, even better in some ways.

Brave New World is yet another piece of lovingly crafted evidence that should banish any lingering doubt about the developer. They are a highly capable team and a near perfect fit for this series.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm has so far been consistent in its delivery of a heartfelt story with lots of wiggle room for players to craft their own emotional journey. The final episode can’t come soon enough.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm – Episode 2: Brave New World is an excellent entry in the series.
So far, Before the Storm is maturing nicely.
Brave New World wastes what precious little time Before the Storm has on filler, holding back meaningful developments until the very end.
A rather flawed follow-up to a fantastic first episode. There's plenty here to like, but it loses its momentum due to some weak writing and stiff animation that felt as if the episode was released too early. The relationship between Rachel and Chloe is the most interesting thing in this episode and it makes it easier to stick with it even with the dialogue being sub par in places.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm - Brave New World is a emotional roller-coaster, but in a good way. Strong character development and genuine twists that make for a solid sophomore entry in this three-part prequel.
Episode two lives up to Life is Strange: Before the Storm's incredibly strong start.
Sadly, the second episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm does not raise the bar in terms of quality. The developer can't keep up with the original game. It's a real shame, because despite all of the flaws, there are some elements players loved the predecessor for.
