Critic Reviews for Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary Edition
Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers - 20th Anniversary Edition authentically pays homage to its classic predecessor.
Gabriel Knight returns with a modern twist, bringing with him the good and the bad.
A great way to bring a classic adventure game to a whole new audience.
It was wonderful to yet again to find myself immersed in a fantastic point and click adventure, filled with unique puzzles and beautiful environments, complemented by Jane Jensen's amazing storytelling.
Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers - 20th Anniversary Edition is the same great game that won over adventurers two decades ago, complete with shiny new visuals, enhanced sound and some interesting bonus features. This a remake done right and the care and attention that has been invested in it will delight existing fans - hopefully winning over some new ones, too.
This remake of the legitimately classic Gabriel Knight takes a few missteps, but succeeds in putting the 90s adventure in contemporary digital hands.
Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father holds up remarkably well after two decades, but loses some of its soul in this HD remake.
If the updated look and feel gets you to play this classic for the first time, it was a worthwhile endeavor.
