Critic Reviews for Warface
Nintendo Switch is really racking up a decent selection of shooters. Warface isn't particularly pretty, and its approach to content access means you'll likely spend most of your time playing with rented items and weapons, but it's still brought solid asymmetrical online FPS action to Switch in a way no other shooter has managed thus far. It might not have the slickness of the bigger boys in the genre, but with stable performance in both modes and a huge amount of content (both now and in the future) the likes of Payday 2, Paladins, Fortnite and Warframe now have another rival for your online hours.
The lack of the need to purchase a paid Nintendo Switch Online subscription allows the project to be as accessible as possible for all categories of players, and a huge amount of game content can easily carry away for more than a dozen hours.

Inside the poor polished Warface there is a good core game, with a lot of options for hardcore gamers.

Warface is a fun port of a first person shooter that came out in 2013 for PC. The game isn't the most unique, but it's fun nonetheless. The PvP and PvE options are fun and offer ways to fight alongside or against your fellow gamers. The game feels approachable even if you're not the best at fps games. The free to play aspect is a huge bonus as well.
Although Warface is beginning to show its age, the class-based online shooter seems to have a new lease on life on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The return of Warface is one that gamers should be happy with. With plenty of game modes to get stuck into, a great variety of weapons to master and no obligation to spend any real money to prove competitive, this is one F2P title that is truly free-to-play
Warface is a Free to Play game which will have you coming back for more, but maybe only in co-op. Just like most of the games out there which follow this Free to Play model, if you dive into the Versus mode then you’ll clearly see how the game changes into the ‘Pay to Win’ formula as you’re taken out by people with much better gear. However, if you’re looking for a fun co-op experience for free with your friends, Warface has you covered – for free.
While Warface Xbox One is free to play, this is a lazy port with many problems that take away from a very average shooter.
