It came from space and ate our brains - Remastered Reviews
It came from space and are our brains is an enjoyable local multiplayer twin-stick shooter. The gameplay mechanics are very smooth, with responsive controls, and a unique visual style that I adored. It is a bit strange that the game supports drop-out, but not drop-in, especially with the length of the levels. A wave-based survival mode exists outside of the campaign, with double the number of levels that the campaign contains. It does hurt that there is no online multiplayer, especially on PlayStation 4.
Destroying the mass of relentless aliens with different weapons, utilizing special equipment in a close-shave situation and ultimately reaching the finish line or dying, in the end, is a fun time.
In all, It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains: Remastered is a perfectly fine shooter that offers plenty of fun.
While not exactly a top-tier experience, it is recommended if you've gone through the slew of twin-stick heavy hitters the system already has on offer.
Triangle Studios' latest release makes a strong first impression with striking visual effects and satisfying shooting mechanics. Sadly, the appeal quickly wears thin, exposing its repetitive gameplay and samey environments. Good for a handful of short bursts, especially with friends, but it feels too much like an unfinished product to fully recommend.
It came from space and ate our brains is one of those games which must be played co-op. If you ask me, play this with your friends and you will taste the real essence of this beautiful entertaining game.

A good twin-stick shooter but I can’t say it did anything to really make it feel memorable like some other games in the genre have.
It's definitely a solid twin-stick shooter but after a while, It came from space and ate our brains becomes so monotonous that you'll eventually feel like something came from space and ate your brain. Well, they got me there, I guess.
IT’S INDEPENDENCE DAY IN THE WORLD AND ONLY YOU MY FRIEND CAN STOP IT! In this alien shooter, you are on a mission to save humanity from the blood thirsty, pink, sharp toothed alien menaces; their pink eyes will haunt your dreams. Although your mission is to take out every alien in your path, your objective is to get to the safe houses and start making your way to the alien’s overly large egg to eradicate the evil visitors from outer space
This game would be much better enjoyed as a Co-Op experience. It Came From Space is not exactly a party game in the same way Gang Beasts or Overcooked would bring a competitive spirit to game night, but it is definitely one where playing with others would help it to thrive. There is a lot of chaos when playing alone, but with another person contributing to the neon explosions and tight escapes… You can imagine that it would be a sight to behold.
It Came From Space And Ate Our Brains is an authentic, old school, twin stick shooter that doesn't value story but takes action. Despite smaller tasks such as destroying a barrier or activating switches, the gameplay remains somewhat monotonous, which is reinforced by the lack of diversity of opponents. The level of difficulty alone is quite moderate, but with three friends the game becomes much more fun. But it will take some time until you get through the six levels of the campaign and if this gets too boring you can look for an additional challenge in survival mode. So the game is a nice entertainment for in between, with which you can quickly let the pig out in a convivial round.

There aren’t too many actual issues weighing this game down, it’s a pretty all-around good time. Just don’t expect anything more than that. This is exactly what to get for a fun party night with friends, a great arcade shoot and survive level-based game. Though that’s all it is and it’s not that long. There’s no real plot, you’re thrust into some levels and eventually, it’s over. Still very fun for the little while you play it, but if you’re looking for an actually fleshed out game, there are many better choices over this one. It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains is an adrenaline-fueled treat from beginning to end and well worth a buy. So did this convince you to It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains?
