Kingdom Rush Frontiers Reviews
Kingdom Rush: Frontiers is a good follow-up to the original game. It’s far more creative with enemies and protagonist characters, but also far more difficult. Regardless, the experience is more fun than not.
Kingdom Rush isn’t even that great by tower defence standards.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers may bring the genre back to basics but it does everything so exceptionally well that you'll be hooked for hours.
If you’re going to bring a tower defense title over from the mobile space the Kingdom Rush series is absolutely the one to go with...
In short, this is a solid port. It’s well worth the dime if you’re looking to kill some time. Kingdom Rush is a solid franchise, and those who play it are forever wise.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers is addictive. Point Blank. The gameplay is super fun, and I loved the level system and the minor customization options available. The lack of a speed up feature is a huge miss. Like I said, most maps last a half hour. Failing at the last minute and having to replay everything just to get to that one spot was tedious. It was frustrating. Music is quite generic, but Kingdom Rush Frontiers quickly became the title to play while listening to podcasts.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers is a classic Tower Defence game, that has been ported to the Nintendo Switch with all its charm, fun, enjoyable and frantic gameplay intact. If you were to buy Kingdom Rush Frontiers on mobile, all of the premium content such as the additional Heroes would be locked behind a paywall. That would be far more expensive in the long run than buying the full game on the Nintendo Switch.
