Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is an excellent comeback for the beloved hero. Its based on the same tried and tested formula, while adding many new elements in the meantime. A great platformer for new and returning players.

"Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time" proves in the test to be a crazy 2.5D platformer, which is in no way inferior to its predecessors. So friends of the game series can once again look forward to a fast-paced gaming experience, bizarre boss opponents and the right pinch of humor. However, even the most hardened pros will be challenged enormously and will have to have a lot of patience, especially on the high difficulty level. If you want to experience the nostalgic flair of a timeless classic and are prepared to make a few technical cutbacks, "Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time" is not to be missed.

A classic renewed while a good update it maintains the essence of the series, including it’s challenging later levels. While some of them take a long time to beat it is still one of the best platfomers of the past years.

When it comes to original entries, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is a triumphant return for the beloved marsupial. Using the remade trilogy’s excellent framework, this title offers a more varied, gratifying, and challenging gameplay. With an absurd number of challenges to overcome and a new shining art direction, we risk affirming this is Crash Bandicoot’s best entry yet. Before us is an excellent experience, one which is mandatory for fans of platforming games.

It’s About Time is my favourite platformer of 2020 and it’s not even close. Mario, I do love you dearly, but Crash 4’s take on merging something old with something new is clearly all I want from the genre right now. Toys for Bob understand this franchise better than we ever could have hoped and it shows.
More courage wouldn’t have hurt the project, but to be fair this franchise has never really worked when it tried lateral thinking, so going back to the roots was the way to go. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is what it needs to be, a Crash Bandicoot game for our time.
The level designers combine sadism and genius to create a truly fun and challenging gaming experience.
The cheeky name Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time couldn’t be more aptly named based on the story of the game. The game takes place after the events of Crash Bandicoot: Warped. Series villains Neo Cortex and Nefarious Tropy have discovered how to create rifts in time and space. It is not long before Crash and his sister Coco find out and go out on an adventure to stop the duo before they destroy the history of the world!
A return to form for everyone’s favourite Bandicoot! Aside from a few duff powers this is all Killer!
Finally Crash is back and does it in a superlative way, thanks to an all-round game that takes up the previous mechanics and adds new ones.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, is not "simply" the sequel and the worthy heir to the Naughty Dog trilogy.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a wonderful platformer that offers the same wacky but difficult gameplay of its predecessors, but with a modern twist added to them.
Crash Bandicoot 4 is a great challenge and I couldn’t stop playing. It has a ton of variety over quite a lot of levels and the gameplay is genuinely fun. The production values are high and there’s always something to do. It’s a definite improvement on the previous games in the series, despite keeping the same feel. Despite being one of the best games I’ve played recently, I do have one big concern. I could see a lot of people giving up and coming away from this game with a bad impression because of the difficulty. While you can keep trying and trying, many areas are just incredibly difficult and some people won’t be able to pass them. This is not going to be a game for everyone and that's not a bad thing.
The best Crash Bandicoot of the saga.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It‘s About Time is the title that the fans have been waiting for more that 20 years and without the doubt the best installment of the series since the original Naughty Dog trilogy. If Toys for Bob will stay with the series for the long term, the future seems bright.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is a truly exceptional game. Going in I just wanted a sequel that did the original three games proud, but what we have here is the best Crash game to date. It’s visually stunning, difficult yet accessible and always has a trick up its sleeve. This is a must-buy game.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time does more than enough to satisfy oldschool fans of the series but doesn't quite put the series into a moden era of gaming. Overloading effects, missing gameplay variety with the new characters/elements and a big focus on nostalgia holds the game a bit back. Crash Bandicoot will still have a lot of fun with it.

I waited years for a new Crash game and it’s safe to say that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time really was worth the wait.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time shines with quality, and delivers on so many levels. It's truly a proper comeback after 22 years.
