Sadly, EA seems to have given up on Dead Space. Earlier this year, EA denied that a remake of Dead Space 2 was ever in the works following "poor sales" of the first game's remake.

Now, the series creator, Glen Schofield, has revealed that he pitched Dead Space 4 to the company earlier this year, only for them to shoot him down instantly.
Glen Schofield clearly has a strong affinity for Dead Space, recently revealing that "It would be cool to do a new one." He though it would be so cool, that he actually pitched a fourth game to EA earlier this year, only for the company to shoot him down.
Speaking on the Dan Allen Gaming Podcast, Schofield said, "We tried, actually, we tried. Dead Space 4. We're talking this year."
