If you're a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, then August 28, AKA today, is a day worth celebrating, as Metal Gear Soli Delta: Snake Eater is officially out. Despite its performance issues, which are plentiful, it will hopefully mark a new chapter in the MGS franchise, with Konami reportedly planning multiple other remakes, provided Delta: Snake Eater is a success.
Success typically refers to financial success, and if there's one thing that can dampen a game's financial outlook, aside from negative reviews, it's piracy, and Delta: Snake Eater has already found itself the victim of the latter.
As first spotted on Reddit's dedicated "PiratedGames" sub, which is dedicated to all things game piracy, Delta: Snake Eater has already been cracked by bad actors, meaning its files have been ripped and made available to pirates across a number of channels.
Simply put, because the game did not ship with Denuvo, an anti-tampering DRM service that prevents games from being cracked, thus stopping piracy in its tracks, it was all but a foregone conclusion that Delta: Snake Eater would find itself available on the dark side of the Internet within minutes to hours of its global release.
In being...
