It looks as though Sony might be gunning for a fan-led revival of ill-fated live-service shooter Concord, if recent DMCA takedowns seemingly issued by the publisher are anything to go by.
As spotted by the folks over at The Game Post, it looks like Sony has hit two YouTube videos showing gameplay from fan-made custom servers with DMCAs, and since those videos were uploaded by the project's main architects, the revival itself might be in the publisher's crosshairs.
The takedowns themselves were, as The Game Post points out, issued by a firm known as MarkScan, which Sony has used on a number of occasions to take down unauthorized work based on its IP, including efforts like Lilith Walther's Bloodborne demake.
Although Sony hasn't actually issued a DMCA takedown for the custom server project itself, the strikes issued against the videos were sufficient to spook the project's developers into pausing server invites "for the time being", according to a message on its official Discord server.
