King of Meat, the co-op dungeon-crawling platformer from developer Glowmade and publisher Amazon Game Studios, is shutting down in April, but if you bought the game, don't despair: you'll get your money back.
In a post on Steam, Glowmade and Amazon say that despite the "creativity and innovation" the developer brought to King of Meat, the game "has unfortunately not found the audience [the studios] hoped for", and so its servers will be closing down on April 9th.
Prior to shutdown, all content in King of Meat will remain available, so if you are inclined to play it (and you've already bought the game, of course), then you might want to fill your boots. You'll be getting a refund either way; the two studios say "all players" who bought King of Meat will get their money back "in the coming weeks".
As of yesterday, it's no longer possible to buy King of Meat on any storefront, and you can't buy in-game Stamps either, so if you don't own the game, you've missed your chance to check it out.
However, there's a silver lining if you did buy King of Meat; not only will you be entitled...
